I left the military after 11 years. I have been in “go go go” mode since I was 18. When you mentioned the constant checking of emails and doing everything fast, I realized that is how I’ve been living. It’s time to slow down and actually smell the flowers.

The fear of what's causing the anxiety symptoms keeps it alive💡 I feel like I know this, but every time I hear it, I have that light bulb moment again. So true that the desire to figure it out, to never let your guard down, so that you don't miss anything...that really is such an ingrained thing. So crazy that a hyperactive protective mechanism can have this affect. Learning to let go and trust God fully, to let go of control....that's where I'm at❤

Not an epiphany however I am so grateful when you mention your Letting go...Surrender Sessions. For me it has been paramount for easing symptoms of anxiety, fear, guilt...any of the many symptoms that we, as health anxiety sufferers are faced with. It completely assures me that if I can feel "normal and at ease" .... non symptomatic, that I can learn to experience that feeling more and more in my daily life. Thank you again and Be Well ❤🙏

Same here! I'm turning 50 this year and that is how I've felt my entire live since being a child.. always feeling an incredible urgency and impatience, I would almost say some kind of fear of missing out if I don't keep this train running at top speed. And watching this video and reading some of the comments has been like a wakeup moment, I've never realized it before, and that this could be a root cause of my anxiety.

The overwhelm got the better of me for thepast weeks and last weekend had a major anxiety attack. Thought of going to the ER. It's been 9 months ago since the last one. Felt like I'm going to faint, dizziness, palpitations, feet numbness, flushed face and ear. I asked for lab tests to go through from our company doctor instead. I'm relieved to know everything came out normal accdg to the GP. ECG, thyroid, glucose, lipid panel. It's not easy but these vids has been my guiding force to heal. Thank you Sir.

Hi! Correct me if I am wrong, but the core solution provided in this video is mindfulness? That has already greatly reduced my own anxiety, but still my mind will wander. But since my awareness is greater, I am able to identify when this happens and gently guide my attention to my breathing. Even after a few years of daily practice I still find mindfulness difficult to truly master. It seems that some are able to be in a mindful state all day long. But I think this often took many years to achieve that level of mindfulness. Obviously this can vary from person to person. But it is the opposite of a quick solution, such as just taking a benzo. Even if one is not mindful all day long, 24/7, even a certain portion of their day being spent in this state is still beneficial. I just know that a certain percentage of people will be turned off when they realize that it might not be the quick fix that they are hoping for.
@TheAnxietyGuy111 ай бұрын
Thank you for the insight. The core solution in my eyes would be to align the mental, emotional and physical through the guidance of the ‘big me’ rather than ‘little me’ within us all. I can elaborate on this much more in future videos and podcasts, and it’s also important to remember that this kind of healing can often come about in many ways and usually in a way we never expected it to.

I work with my father and brother , we have a kind of a family business. Making registration for cars. We have a abnormally fast pace, we lack communication, so the stress is on all the time. In the past few weeks i started doing my job slower, more relaxed , and i realized from this video , what youve said, that when i was kind of speedrunning work i was feeding into the anxiety and stress also. I kind of saved every video from you, but never watch it only when im really anxious. I sleep with your affirmations, wake up with your affirmations, but the problem is i was just hearing not listening. Thank you for the help and knowledge

Your videos have been so informative in giving me the tools to under what is happening. The surrender session mediation is right on target and very helpful. I'm trying to understand this, my fear around a health anxiety has passed, the biopsy results were negative and continued monitoring with future ultrasounds will happen. I'm ok with this. So, why do I continue to feel this fear, even though the outcome has been positive for me? Is this where the subconscious is still at work of this perceived danger? Thanks for all your remarkable work!

Super helpful as always, Dennis! I have two things to mention that I hope you may cover in the future. First, is telling the truth. I’m reading Radical Honesty now by Brad Blanton, and he says that all stress is caused by lying. I’m interested to hear how you think that relates to anxiety. Second, sex. So far, I haven’t heard any channels relate anxiety with sex, and I’m not sure if that’s because it’s unimportant, or because it’s potentially alienating to the audience. Thanks for continuing to make these great videos!

Hi Denis I have anxiety for 11 months now all sorts of symptoms most of time thinking that Iam going to faint dizzy this morning scary symptom the whole room was spinning I freaked out I am going to die thinking somethings wrong that I have to go emergency Doctors checked everything and still feeling symptoms I am not convinced it feels like someone has cursed me.
@Fireguy6511 ай бұрын
I feel this way frequently. It’s normal for many people and you’re not going to die. Our bodies don’t know whether we are in serious danger or not, and anxious thoughts, trigger our bodies to respond as if we are in actual danger. Then we overthink why we feel that way and freak out about the physical sensations we are having, and it just is like adding fuel to the fire, and it makes the sensations worse. But at the route, it is all just anxiety.

do you have any insights on cervical instability, neck/posture type stuff? I feel like my entire adult life I have been trying to consciously hold my posture up a way that I don’t really feel inside due to self consciousness and not wanting people to ask me what’s wrong. I hate the constant subconscious awareness of my posture. I wish I could just not think about it and let my body manage it, and not worry about what people think about it. Especially since I have a funky posture. I was walking in my backyard today with my arms and head completely flopped down like I don’t care about anything and it felt so good and I felt like I was expressing my true self, and even my neck felt better after that. I’m pretty sure I messed it up by all these years but trying to look like I gave it all together in life when really I do not.

If our subconscious mind is feeling threatened by thoughts we're not conscious of; then how can we identify those thoughts to be rid of them?? If I have anxiety supposedly, I'm not even aware of feeling anxious, though I guess it shows up in other ways. Its just weird to me. I hope you feel better soon Dennis. Take care of you.
