For everybody: Jailbreaking or Rooting isn't illegal, unless you do illegal stuff with it. So if you jailbreak your phone to get paid apps for free for example, then you are illegal. But since there is almost no way to get caught downloading paid apps for free, it isn't such a big deal, just like downloading music. What is illegal is if you, for example, use it to keylog, ddos, hack into wifi's.

Thanks Marques for another great video! One thing though, I think in iOS it's best to look up the version of iOS the phone is running before following instructions that may be outdated. This could easily sent the phone into a boot loop or worst brick the phone. Keep up the great videos!

Rooting is risky but completely worth it. I started rooting because my first android phone, the HTC eris, wasn't being supported properly and I wanted new software. Ever since, I've rooted all my phones. It's really hard to mess up the root process unless you are like DeeDee from Dexter's Lab and change things you shouldn't.
