This is the simplest way to fix these FRP. Your a legend, I actually used this method with S5 to unlock a Samsung acc the only difference is once the initial factory was done and after setting up WI-FI I used your magic app to gain access to settings created a whole new Samsung account and signed in under the accounts section of settings. Before doing the second reset. Then I continued with your genius plan.

Before leading people down the reset hole from the flash screen....perhaps you could tell them they will need an otg adapter... that way if one isnt handy they didnt just do the reset

thanks for the video. it does not work on j7. it doesn't log into the usb uatomatically when in setting up mode. it only does it after passing through the first setups. once inside the main typical sceen, it does. Android's new version probably does not let you do that anymore.

Sprint can't do shit. They'll need to send it to Samsung for software reinstallation. You'll need the original receipt and the repair shop will probably charge you for doing that.

Try flashing the correct twrp recovery with odin, full wipe everything than try going back to stock. Should wipe the password as well

I think it is because by the time you tried the method Root Junky used, Google caught on to the bypass and disabled the file launch in the next update pack they "give"

you do realise there's a command in Settings that does this effortlessly... it wipes the phone, including all Google logins etc. a friend gave me a phone he'd dropped and once i'd had the screen repaired, i tried to gain access - of course his Google account was blocking me and of course he couldn't remember his password... i was just idly going through settings to see what was there, when i found this baby. not sure whether they all do this, but this is a Samsung A31. what i did get from this was that i need an OTG flash drive, so thanks for that. :) good luck for the new year, everybody.

Trying this on a S7. Unable to get my hands on a similar OTG to the one in the video (at the moment). I have a micro to USB connector that I tried (with the files on a USB) - At 5:44 where I plugged in, it did not open anything automatically (stayed on the 'Verifying your account' screen). @@kevinpacheco4677 Sadly not. I used an other method to get to the settings screen. This was with the PC bypass method. Kinda jank but it worked. When you are in there navigate to the website addrom. There are many resources on how to bypass the FRP. I used the GAM method. I hope I could help. Write a me the solution if it worked for you

Trying to fix my friends phone that got locked out. I hope your technique works. I'm not sure I have that type of flash drive however, I'm assuming I can use a USB phone to PC cable to perform the same APK file installation during the bootup menu. I'll say thanks later if it works and if it doesn't then I'll continue to blow steam out of my ears because this is one tricky thing to solve using the internet as an educational resource to do so.

@@PrinceSingh-cc4zi No the usb cable from PC to Android 9 SmartPhone did not work - nor did using an actual flash drive with an adapter to fit into the phone (the oval kind on S9's). I did not get the same results as in the video that showed a 'File Explorer' opening when connecting the flash drive. It seems that to get rid of the 'Google Verify Lock' on most recent phones - according to expert advice and personal experience - is that you need to take the problem device to a store that knows where to send it to an associated Professional Technician in order to get the phone to be usable again. The majority of videos, websites, and downloadable software tools labeled as an 'Android FRP Bypass or Unlock' are just a bunch of crap that wrecks SIM cards, locks out sim cards, dials unwanted services numbers, comprimises google account login data and associated phone numbers to the accounts. Are you asking if what I commented worked because you have a similar problem with a phone (samsung perhaps) ? See, I was informed of the correct solution to fix the FRP LOCK but I could not find anywhere on the internet the correct 'Combination Firmware File' for Android 9 on a Samsung Galaxy S9+ Phone. There was only 'Combination Firmware' for Android 8, so I'm assuming this phone, that I was trying to get working again (due to a factory reset being executed while the existing google account was still activated on the phone - the cause of the FRP Lock Verification) had a recent Operating System update because it seemed no luck to find Android 9 version 'Combination Firmware' for that particular phone model. Installing the incorrect 'Firmware' can result in the phone going into a restart loop and being unable to boot up or worse, doing what is called 'Bricking' the phone as a result of the incorrect firmware being installed in the startup hardware resources and renders the device unusable when this happens. I'll mention I was able to created a 'Virtual Flash Drive' on the Windows 10 PC I have, however, I couldn't know for sure if it would activate when plugged into the phone as required. That part is a complicated matter I found to know if it was working or not going by the proceedure of the video - I wasn't able to learn if the virtual Flash Drive on the PC Hard Drive would respond in the same way as a 'Hardware Based USB Flash Drive' like the Video Creator was using, so I can't really say if it would work or not, perhaps the USB Adapter was faulty, or I questioned maybe I had a different version of android that wouldn't allow the 'USB File Explorer' to open with a newly connected usb flash drive device or virtual flash drive usb pc to phone cable.

Thanks for sharing. I realize this post is a few years old and probably worked on most Samsung devices then, but on my A42 I have the same issue several on here have now, the file explorer won't open when inserting the flash drive. If you discover a fix for that please post it. I thought of trying a different brand of flash drive, but I'm using a USB-C SanDisk, same brand being used in the video so that will probably be a waste of time and money I'm guessing. Great work though.

The OTA FRP bypass method will not work on Android 11 as it has been patched. you will need a new method to remove the Factory Reset Protection lock from the device. you can either check out unlockjunky.com or Phonlabtech.com and learn how to do it yourself with a newer method.

Was the Samsung "reactivation lock" enabled during this test? It should be in the settings- -> lock screen and security -> find my mobile -> reactivation lock As far as I know that should ask you for your Samsung account and not your Google account.

FYI. Looks like Samsung patched this bypass. File explorer doesn't open on the Goggle Sign in screen when a USB device is plugged in anymore.

Nothing pops up for me when plugging in the otg cable unless the battery is low it warns me. But no file explorer even at full battery. A520W (Canada variant)

Want to know how else this is Frikin annoying? Being in the IT department, and taking a Samsung phone from an ex-employee, to factory reset to re-assign it to another user. Perfectly legitimate practise within the company and now it's a headache because we're not sure which of the many company gmail accounts this was signed in to.

try losing your own phone for months in your own bedroom, it was dead was looking for cord got sidetracked with unexpected company and forgot all about it... i found it weeks ago but nothing is working even called tracfone .... samsung no one is willing to reset the damn thingf i tried to even switch it over to my tmobile account and doesnt matter because i cant get passed the friggin screenlock that remains even after factory reset... i made a break threough at one point got so excited i went to do something and bumped the back button grrrrrrrr... boop right back where i started omg i was so mad at myself for not putting my new email address in right that dang second... but my new otg isnt working like it should because im having issues with setting up the dang otg to open file

No automatic file manager screen for me either when I plug in my OTG. I suspect this method worked at one time, but no longer. Probably due to security updates. That is kind of a security hole if you think about it...

The otg is not required, type 4 or more characters, highlight them, click assist and type settings in Google, open it, and the rest is in the video

Thanks, man. I wasn't trying to get past Google, though, I was stuck at Samsung's "locked due to improper reset" after I messed up rooting a G900A S5. This is a brand new (ebay) phone from China. It didn't have a Samsung account and I couldn't add one for it. But, thanks to you, I was able to get around the problem. I had reinstalled the stock rom, but, I guess, 6.0.1 won't let you use the USB dongle, so I rooted it (properly, this time) to 5.1.1 and, voila! The USB thingy opened up, and since I'm rooted, I used 3C All in one Toolbox (I had the APK on the USB) to disable the Samsung Account, rebooted and I was in business. So, not exactly what you did, but, thanks to you, I got my phone up and running. A HUGE thank you! A slight modification of your method saved my butt. AND my phone.
