It's just u & a core percentile of the worlds population who are to young to know any better, this cornball is the biggest dork I've seen for MANY a year, it's beyond contrived & pretentious on every level, the schtick is pathetic & played out, wearing the video concept for "without me" by Eminem from 20 years ago like a kid wearing his mum's bath towel pretending it's a super hero cape is tragic, he looks & sounds like a goofball doing it-he doesn't even have presence, the music is by the numbers played out AF garbage, contrived self deprecation & endless meds talk is embarrassing even when it's actually cool looking & sounding-but this character sounds idiotic & looks ridiculous, his fans are pale skinned uni students who's parents are GP's, GARBAGE

Lowkey is also one of the absolute greatest UK rappers EVER! I was thinking it might be a huge reach by me to think Ren was referencing him, here. BUT - he then went on a couple of lines to use "Fire In The Booth". Well Lowkey's two FITB performances (Charlie Sloth show, BBCRadio 1) are absolute legendary...... Would be cool if this is intentional from Ren in the way I've just alluded to!

@AndrewinAus exactly! I went back and watched his life story again. All 8 of them. And CRAZY what he's been through. I have bad chronic pain. So I don't think a lot of my family understands why he's such a huge part of my life. I love his references, the way he thinks, his brilliant mind & art. Because to me he's no rapper, he's a artist who can do so many things including rap like a god. He taught himself on his own beats he had been making & selling. Which is how he knows how to do every aspect in his music. Nobody else could do it so he uses KZbin to learn. He's a genius.

I feel like in his songs he invites you into his maze and most people enjoy the trip until they find the key for the exit and the exit (understanding the core meaning of the song and move on with their lifes until Ren creates another song/maze) but i feel like what his music really wants you to do is to get lost in this maze of ambiguous creativity trying to find some kind of clue for the truth of the universe. There's a reason why so many people have Ren on repeat in their playlist because everytime there's something new to discover or another way of interpreting his music. It definately encourages me to be more creative myself even when i don't possess the innate thrive or talent to create art like he does. But he sure makes me wander in this maze! ❤

As a chronic Lyme disease patient myself, I appreciate REN on so many levels, & even in this video, I get it, I understand the pain, fear, frustration, but this was very dark and hard to watch (& I watched the video in entirety earlier today, before I watched your video). I respect REN, so I watched the video through the entirety on his channel, as I believe in him as a person, and I believe in him as the artist. I then watched your reaction as I find your reaction is very insightful. Thank you for the analogy of the red and white image REN was portraying, comparing that to the body fighting itself with an autoimmune condition. I didn’t even think of that, but I think you are spot on with your analogy there. I totally missed that, and ironically, my body is doing the same thing to me, and I did not pick up on that. -Thank you for pointing that out, and for all your insights. Perhaps because I’m on my own Lyme darkness, I wasn’t able to see all this. Again, thank you for all your insights!

Just seeing your reation and the amount of heart felt empathy you showed for somebody you just heard for the first time is immeasurable. You say your not a therapist but you click all the boxes. You just can't help but feel Ren's pain especially after going through all his music, interviews, ect... Everytime I dive into the Ren rabbit hole I find something different and I love it. I just wanted to thank you for your EMPATHY. I will never forget the emotion you showed when Ren stood up towards the end of HI REN. I am also of German descent, well half. I love his music and I always will. It’s just not because you want to keep going down hill, we are a community and we help each other in difficult times. Rosalie, you did an amazing breakdown. ❤It is not possible, to get through all the layers. 🤔 So many references to things that only some will be familiar with. The Loki movie you mentioned, definitely not reaching. I googled it and the image was one that Ren uses in the video as well as the meaning of it. He uses film references so often. The nursery rhymes (I didn't catch that) that are present in almost every track, the doubles, some so subtle it takes multiple listens to get some. The wordplay too, crazy. Then, the symbolism in the video. The portrayal of the womb. Not only is he wrapped in plastic as Dexter did with his victims, the visual depicts a human in an actual womb as Ren is in the fetal position.😮 Its taking me several listens to get some stuff (all the lyrical references of his music that he puts in every song, the doubles I get, etc), but also the things the good reactors find. It's a 1,000 piece puzzle that takes a long time to complete. 😊💜 💚 💙
