Thank you sooooo much for posting this, all the other videos I found said, “on dark hair” “overtone on dark brown hair” and so on and then they just have their roots grown out and like 80% of their hair has been bleached saying, “wow, much color! How amaze!” And I’m like, “girl, your hair was bleached, that doesn’t count!”

I think the subtle nature of brunettes is beautiful, flashy can be nice but it tends to be gaudy. Just how the nape of the neck or a flash of the wrist is enough to turn heads if you know what you're doing.

omg this is heaven sent. I have black hair and I’ve always wanted to do subtle rose gold that wouldn’t really show up indoors and I’ve searched everywhere for how to do that but could never find anything that I thought would work. and then i saw a bunch of ads for overtone and wondered if that really works. this right here literally hits the jackpot of what I want my hair color to look like so yeah imma have to try this out

I don't comment often, but when I do it's because I absolutely love a video! Thanks for this one. I have been searching everywhere for oVertone results on darker hair. I have lighter brown hair naturally, but I have dyed my hair black for YEARS, and now that I want a change, I'm realizing how damaging all that dye and bleach has been! (UGH!) So, to know this product line has that subtlety on black hair really gives me a great idea of how it will look on my hair that tends to be a gradient between jet black (dye) and my natural brown roots. SUPER helpful! :D

Thanks for posting this! A lot of the other videos were on lighter hair, and I appreciated that you only did it to half so we can see the difference. Now that it's been a while longer, did you notice any damage?

i haven’t experienced any damage since this product is a coloring conditioner, NOT A DYE. the products don’t contain ammonia, sulfates, or harsh chemicals. They don’t open and dry out the cuticle to deposit color like dyes do. it’s meant to color your hair while restoring it. i hope this helps! thanks for watching 💜

I've dyed my hair black for the last couple years and I miss fun colours sometimes (I had it red and purple for like... 10 years?) and wondered how this Overtone stuff would look on darker hair but I was afraid of buying some and then having it not work at all. I love pretty much anything rose gold and thought it would be cool to have a bit of an all-over tint to the hair that would show up in the sun... so pretty much just like yours came out. I’ve never used their brown hair products, but I used their coral hair conditioners when my hair was coral and it made such a difference in between color touch ups. It’s crazy how well their products work. They smell great too!

thank you!! you’re supposed to use the daily conditioner every time you wash your hair to maintain the color, but i didn’t purchase it. i only colored my hair once and it lasted me a month without touch-ups (i wash my hair 3 times a week). xx

Thank you!! I really tried to wash my hair only 1-2 times a week and I used the Daily Conditioner every time! The color shouldn’t wash out as long as you keep using the products. I only use the Deep Conditioner every 2 months to refresh the color and vibrancy. When I ran out of the Daily Conditioner, I found that the color didn’t fully wash out for 3 weeks with my regular shower routine. Of course, heat styling and the shampoo you use will also affect the color. Hope this helped 💜

Yes! A lot of people use it with ombres and it looks great. Your hair doesn’t have to be super blonde, but it would still work 😊

Normally I would use gloves, but I didn't have gloves around the house and I wanted this video to go up asap haha. I wash my hands with either shampoo/bar soap/dish soap, rinse, and repeat as needed. I try not to leave the dye on my hands for too long. Wiping away with a towel or even using nail polish remover helps! Good luck xx
