No, but you make me want to now even more so since they've improved the game's quality of life, removed P2W, and are still updating the game which is really all that matters IMO. It doesn't seem like you've done a video about Drift City or Drift City remastered and Tales of Pirates or Pirate King Online as both games are called now. Those games would make great content.

The good old days, back when life was FlyFF, ROSE, Runescape, Maplestory and MSN- sorely missed, haha. I remember playing back during iRose and was playing it all the way up until they closed the servers. Server was packed- everyone was gathering together to say their goodbyes, and we were making 1 mesos mountains for the new players that didn't know what was coming. Having the server go down for what eventually became Rose EVO was a very sad change for my friends and I and it just wasn't the same

Thanks for the nostalgia trip! One of my first mmos. Really enjoyed when they restarted servers and starting areas were filled. I thought the shop system was really fun too.

the best thing about the server is the unlimited skill and stat reset, this server is a rush to lvl 250 game through quests for starters then combination of repeatable daily quests and grinding,ull be suprised about the number of characters selling on the market but most of it are same players who uses multiple accounts in 1 PC, u need to be lvl 250 to farm through dungeons and valor points, discord is also active and there forum so questing for weapons and armors can be viewed for newbies, most of the players here also has max cleric so partying on higher lvls is easy

Two years and still no content, the main quest line still stops in eldeon the quest literally runs out of code. And you took all my honestly earned zulie and everyone else’s cause others were cheating which I even showed mod Avatar and he ignored me. Your game is dead the population is dual client population. Not everyone wants just pvp or do the same few raids and new players can’t even level up. Drop table is still trash.

@@Branhawk Thanks for your feedback. We've done a lot in the past two years including updating the graphics engine, releasing a new map, lost dragons, duels, many QoL features and more. In our most recent patches we've made some adjustments to dungeons and have had several patches focused on drop tables in the past month and we have more PvM/PvE content updates in the pipeline! Part of the reason we're still in Early Access is that we've been focusing on fixing core issues that have plagued the game for decades. We currently have a stable player base and a stable economy but just like mentioned in this video there are still more areas for improvement. Keep an eye out for our upcoming updates!

I remember playing this with friends, around the time we played Flyff. And well, every MMO that was launching by the dozen at the time. Flyff had the novelty of flying, ROSE had the novelty of CARS! I guess nowdays neither is really unique, though... Ironically on the topic of music not being memorable, the theme you played somehow stuck with me. I was doing the flute/ocarina/thing that comes right after out loud! It was engraved in my brain!

ROSE had Castle Gears also! I played ROSE then Flyff. Early to late 2000s was legit MMO era, you get mmo releases almost every months!

I don't know if that'll work against you or not you have the data for that, but I would totally watch other gaming content if you do it. You might want to stay away from shorts though if you only do long form content. Look forward to any other vids you make! Keep it up.

Oh I miss ROSE Online. Did play for years on a high rate private server where all maps other than the town are PvP maps. It was great leveling up while having wars that happens out of the blue due to an issue in leveling spots. Oh great days.

Back in my day you could get to level 200 in a week or so, so we pretty much just had fun with end game content, which wasn't exactly fun since it didn't have much more to do other than grinding/crafting/dealing, then again it was the early 2000s and a bunch of features we find basic these days weren't around yet. Eventually we got faction wars and PVP was taken seriously, but ROSE has always been a simple game.

I was in junior high school when this game release, lmao talking about subscription, Ragnarok Online from the same company Gravity also use that service when its release in my country in 2003. i remember buying voucher with code to activate your acc. the sub price is varies depend on the game time limit, from 5hour time gameplay to monthly/30day time

Rose is only for OG players, they only play it for the nostalgia. Never meant for new players. Its welcome, but its gonna be a struggle for them.

For sure, good luck to new players even leveling at this point if you don’t know anyone. It’s basically all pvp based for max level now. And all the bosses with good drops are constantly farmed by just a few clans. That’s why basically the whole game is dead except ocf. And the dev team could just do a zulie apocalypse at any time again cause there is still bots everywhere and they don’t give af about real players.

If you know how the game works, you can still start from zero, although you'll need to do multiple clients or "auto clicker". Leveling up to maybe 50+ is doable solo, but onwards? Leveling here is mostly party based and finding a leveling spot.

@@woojinbloo44 Yeah that’s what I’m saying, I have 4 lvl 250s but I started a month after release, I ran around to all the training spots to max and it’s dead. Only people leveling are clans leveling other accounts or their friends for the most part.

I didn’t get to play that game as long as I did with ROSE, Flyff, Ragnarok, MU, etc. But I still have fond memories of it, dreaming of being able to play the school vs school system they had. Also I thought the modern day setting was refreshing vs the oversaturated fantasy MMOs.

It was neat back then when there are so many players. If you will play this now, you'll have a VERY hard time leveling up to max. And even if you do, you can't easily play pvp modes (which allows you to farm materials or currency to buy gr3at items or mats) since some modes require at least 10, 20 at most, playwrs.

When this was first released in my country, it wasn't free. When you create a new account, you'll have 30 hours of free gameplay, but after that, you need to buy topup cards that will then allow you to play for more hours.

As far as I know the hardest class to become is the Cleric, but the most important role during parties and raid... If you successfully to become a Cleric you are the saint wahahah.

Tried installing rose online on the surface pro 11 since i no longer have a pc or a laptop. Wouldnt even run install. Soemthing about x64 archetype. But it should be able to install and emulate it via ARM.

Unfortunately, it stopped at Oro. It has never been developed further. The namesake of the game didn't really fulfill itself. Back then, it was awesome to eagerly await for the other planets aka episodes.

A lot of players that aren't interested in end game pvp are out of the game waiting for more updates. The population will go right back up when it happens. Doing kill quests multiboxing with yourself to max level is not a viable hook for anyone new and that's on the list for fixing. More early game content is also planned for the forever later. If someone wants to play but doesn't feel like grinding 200 levels almost fully solo, there will be more people again on official launch and eventual Steam release with improvements to leveling. The devs are old players of the game so at least you know they care, though it needs more people with no nostalgia for it for a fresh perspective on what needs to improve. The game's main design direction was centered around clan pvp events in a point and click battle system that can't hold up to today's standards. That's besides the fact vastly more people that still play MMORPGs are in it for the PVE.
