I found it really interesting how you sorta erased and painted over the lines as you go. I'm impressed by how well you pulled off her curls with that method as well. I'd totally get lost somewhere along the way. This turned out beautifully. Nicely done! :D

Neko Spirit If you look at Rose's fountain, you can see she was a bit on the heavier side compared to the rest of the gems and the other characters. I doubt they built that fountain of her when she was specifically pregnant. Yes, she's bigger than normal when she's pregnant with Steven, but you can't say she wasn't fat. Though, I personally am quite irritated with people getting up in arms about how artists draw Rose; I think artists should be able to draw her fat or skinny without the fear of being bashed and attacked like Tumblr users seem to be doing lately. ... Sorry for the mini-rant.

Neko Spirit Haha, No. It cannon. Remember the fountain? Chubby Rose, and it was probably made BEFORE she was pregnant. Do you remember the pyramid way back? The drawn pictures depict chubby Rose Quartz in the war between the Crystal Gems and Homeworld, and I really doubt that Rose even knew Greg then. Want more? -The hologram Pearl produced back in Rose's Scabbard had fat rose. -Picture in the Gem's House/temple has Fat Rose. -Again, picture dating way back shows chubby Rose(The one with Garnet punching a shark, and all of the Crystal Gems are wearing old-time clothing.) -There's a picture that Greg has that Steven broke. -If you want some gem theory, Notice how all the gems that have faceted gemstones(Jasper,Rose,Amethyst,and Garnet) are made up of circles and ovals; which equal to being bigger or curvy. The Gems welding smoother ones(Pearl, Peridot) have smaller, petite bodies.

AfterDark except there really arent any fat female characters in cartoons that are portrayed positively, or at all??. So maybe you can kind of see why people would be upset about an artist taking a character that is considered beautiful and is respected by all the other characters on the show and also fat, and then drawing them skinny? Because positively portrayed not-for-a-joke fat female characters dont really exist in 99.9% of other shows, especially animated shows or shows for children.

Neko Spirit Rose is confirmed to be chubby even when she's not pregnant. In Maximum Capacity when Amethyst shapeshifts into Rose, she doesn't have a baby bump but still has thicker arms, face, and torso. Also in Rose's Scabbard, she is pictured way before she met Greg, as this scene is shown during the rebellion. When she is pictured in other episodes (like Together Breakfast) she still appears chubby before pregnancy. I also assume we will see more non-pregnant Rose in the next episode to be released,
