Really, he always said he hated her? I know, in the past, he would talk about them having trying times together and had their share of heated arguments, but that at the end of the day, he still respected and cared about her. Once he said, "he never knew he had it that good back then" and that he never regretted leaving the show(I'm assuming he meant during their last season), because he was burned out and needed a change, but that he took for granted how good he had it then and working with her and the rest of the cast. I always got the impression that John Goodman was among the very few people who she truly respected and listened to.

Haven't watched this a how since Rosanne left. She and Dan made the show TOGETHER. It could never be the same great show without them both! What an amazing opportunity you all have missed. Everyone turned their back on Roseanne. She thought she was playing by the rules making fun of another white woman-which is totally okay to do in Hollywood-but when the woman turned out to not be white, the joke suddenly was no longer acceptable. Also, to be clear, I think many anti-white jokes are hilarious and they’re fair game; I just think people should be able to make jokes about everyone (to a degree of course).

As cheesy as this may sound, it IS like seeing your family again! I grew up watching Roseanne and when you see a family in your house constantly over almost a decade, they start to feel like your own family. So seeing them all again now is so warming inside because they all look so good and it's just like coming home again. I always thought Roseanne would make the perfect aunty! Because she did the biggest 180 we have ever seen. Her old show was progressive which we all thought was her doing since the show was based around her and she had alot of creative control on how she wanted the stories to go. The stories were very liberal and progressive while showing a blue collar family struggling with middle-lower class american life that everyone dealt with. Plus she got really flaky after the whole hawaii nut farm thing.
