My grandmother kept a small bucket of rosemary in all the rooms of her house. She insisted that during the Spanish Flu it is what kept her family free of it. When she changed out the water she poured the spent water around her house and it seemed to fertilize her roses. They grew up and created a gorgeous hedge around her home.

I have a rosemary bush that is quite beautiful, I live in Charleston South Carolina, it is about 11 years old. Around October, I have taken fresh sprigs of rosemary and stuck it in small bottles of olive oil to impart a rosemary flavor till Christmas . I give them as gifts. I love the flavor of the rosemary in the olive oil. When I use to grow Rosemary I enjoyed putting it in brown gravy. Just crack the leaves a bit and put the whole unstriped section (do not need much) into the gravy(when the gravy is done) and stir while tasting the whole time. It does not take long to add the flavor and you do not want it to strong, just more of a background taste. Thank you for your videos and time :)

Wow. It sounds like I definitely need rosemary for almost all of the things you’ve mentioned. Arthritis pain especially
@truthtriumphant5503

For arthritis pain, you might want to try niacinamide (check out Dr. Jonathan Wright)...My hands/feet were swelling horribly from Lyme arthritis...and I tried everything to get it under control. THe only thing that really helped is niacinamide and staying off nightshades for a while ...till I got better. Now I can have them...just not too often or I get a twinge of pain...and I know it is time to stop for a little while.

@@gardenstatesowandsew You are most welcome...I pray that it will be of help to you as it has to me and others...Also...it is needed for so many health issues...good for the brain...and the mood. Niacin was used by Bill of AA as a way to get over depression. Niacin gives a flush...Niacinamide does not...but, they both are good natural helps. Blessings.

Your awesome Heidi. I truly wish more people would go back to the old ways of doing things that actually worked without all the pesticides and poisonous things that supposedly "treat" our crops just for a bigger yield. I honestly believe that progress in the world is what's causing cancers and sickness's that ail humankind. I not only watch all your videos,that includes older vids and even some a few times, but I research a lot of things after and your so on point with the knowledge and what you've tried that would works for you that you've opened my mind to many things. So much so that if I lived to be 100 I'd still be trying to learn more lol. Good thing the human brain doesn't have a limit 🤣! My best to you and yours doll! Look forward to anything you put out. And by the way, the break bleeder I purchased because of your video has worked out fabulous for a lot of my dry goods such as rice and cereal for starters!

Thank you for this video. My daughter suffers neurological headaches and has been on so many medications we will try this. I have always used it for cooking and flavoring but will start working with its healing properties.

I never bring mine in. We do not have harsh winters but we have very WET winters, which rosemary does not like. I tried for years to leave it in the garden but it would die every winter until I figured out the best place here to grow it was up next to the house so it would stay protected from the heavy rains and the house would also offer some protection against the cold in the winter. It works!

When I go into the greenhouse, one of the first things I do is to rub my hands on the rosemary and take a deep breath - there is something really good about the smell and My German shepherd likes to smell it too. I do not use it a lot in recipes, but do like it on a roasted chicken.

When I started changing my lifestyle and ridding my home of chemicals I used Avalon Organics Rosemary Shampoo and conditioner because I have fine hair. Then I started using Young Living deodorant w/rosemary. I wasn’t used to the fragrance and I would often make a joke that I smelled like I tripped and fell into a rosemary bush! Now the more natural the smell I like it. I don’t care if I smell like the forest now!
