What a beautiful treasure! My parents loved iconic Rosemary Clooney! I shed a tear of happiness around the holidays, just hearing her sing this song! Her voice was like velvet and I loved her too! ❤❤❤❤❤

What a trooper! One of the few artists who was able to cement a lasting friendship with Bing Crosby. He took her on tour with him & it restarted her career 🎶

Rosemary Clooney did not have an easy life. There were very difficult periods, even after she first became enormously famous. But she rose above the hardships, always bringing beauty to the world with her distinctive voice and her pleasant presence. A lady with class, a wonderful human being.

Whether it’s Rosemary or Bing, that song calms me and makes me feel better about myself.

My Dad's favourite Christmas song was "White Christmas" Dad passed away in 2009, but I'll never ever forget him. Whenever I hear "White Christmas" I think of Dad. Also, Bing Crosby was Dad's favourite singer., & he liked the way Rosemary sang it. Rosemary Clooney was the only female performer invited to attend Bing Crosby's funeral which took place as the sun was rising. Bing had a hit with "Where the blue of the night meets the gold of the day"., so his burial at that time was most appropriate.

It's an extremely rare talent to be able to deliver songs like Rosemary did, even as she got older her talent still shone like the brightest star in the sky

How moving this is. Such a wonderful reminder of how extraordinary Clooney's later career was, after the early fame in the fifties.

I am so thankful for these two wonderful songs. If these songs don't move you into tears, then check your pulse. You may be dead. Merry Christmas to the cast of "White Christmas" and for the many years of joy they've bought to all the viewers.

Good Jesus, I'm 18 years old and even in her later years, Rosemary is still prettier than me. I love her so much!

I had the great, good fortune of having seen her perform in NYC, at The Rainbow Room. The table I sat at was directly in front of her! I could not believe my good luck. Oh, it was smashing.

She was so classy! One of my favorite memories is when I got to hold her cue cards for a couple songs on a telethon.

Irving actually wrote this song after the death of his daughter. The Berlins had lived in New York where they had enjoyed many a white christmas. Now, in sunnier climes, Irving wrote this wistful song remembering the happy times with his daughter in a snow clad NY. The background lends the song's lyrics that extra poignancy.

Oh, my gosh! She's singing the seldom-heard first verse to "White Christmas." It's so beautiful too as is she. Yes, George Clooney's auntie is pretty good. Just kidding. What a legend.

Its been said in so many ways and we all know it and yet we all forget it almost all of the time. We complain and worry about what we do not have. My brother has a little fridge magnet (what people still have them?) that says "Things are never that bad that they can't get worse". Strive for better but don't sweat "stuff" you don't have.
