I remember the first video that I saw on this channel was the pulao recipe and as soon as I saw it was thamma's recipe I knew it would be great. My own didama used to make the best polau ever. She cooked and fed us all with so much love and patience, she passed away a few years back and I miss her every day. Grandparents leave behind the fondest memories. I am sorry to hear about your loss. Warm hugs and more thamma recipes!

Hi Bong eats couple... yesterday I prepared this... these days my hubby is strictly restricting himself on sweets...but I was so tempted to prepare this I took a chance...and it turned out to be out of the world experience... never before I was so confident in making this...the puli texture was awesome...and best compliment was from my hubby,who took three bowls full in one go...he said puli texture is soft but firm as his mom used to make and the sauce is better in taste and texture than what his Mom used to prepare... I am not a foodie but my passion is cooking...so yesterday I was really blown over with my own performance... can't Thank You enough 👏👏👏

তোমাদের এই রান্নার মাঝেই ঠাম্মা বেঁচে আছেন। আর আনন্দের কথা এই যে আমি এই রেসিপিটি দেখলাম আমার ঠাম্মার সাথেই। তিনি এখন 89 বছরের। উনি বললেন আরে আমাদের সময়ের মতোই তো রান্না করলো!! আমরাও তো এলাচ এভাবেই গুঁড়ো করে নিতাম দরকার মত। তোমাদের অনেক টা ভালোবাসা জানাই।

OMG...this reminds me of my Mom in law...she was expert in this recipe...but she never used measurements... when I became fond of this item I learnt it through trial and error... today I too cook this with perfection but seeing this video I really feel kaash in our time this channel was there... anyways really feels good seeing these recipes...these days I am cooking more bong food than ever... thanks to you people...

RIP thamma! because of your recipes, I can now cook and eat authentic bengali dishes in a foreign land. P.S.: I didn't know how to cook before I came here and was terrified at the thought of cooking. My deepest heartfelt condolences to u n ur family...may her soul rest in peace...u were lucky to hav her to inspire u n share recipes n she was lucky to hav u to carry forward her cooking legacy.......i lost my grandmother 3months ago, again a wonderful cook....i learnt from her...d past few yrs i was telling her....pl write it dwn in a book, i cant keep calling u up again n again....but she never did.....even tday i am searching for d smell n colour in my food when i cook just wondering all d time if it resembles what my granny did........i miss her.......May God give u strength ...as for d recipe.... yummy..a must in this winter.....will try for sure....

I don't know how I missed this video of Bongeats.My ma used to make this puli pitha every year. It was her signature sweet dish. She passed away in 2013. This video brought back all the memories associated with this dish...Feeling nostalgic!! Keep up the good work, Bongeats!! :)

I have been finding this receipe on internet since long but couldn't find the appropriate name. Thank you @bong eats. This recipe was taught to me by my grandmother!! One more thing, to make it more delicious serve on top bhaja chide. Roast it and sprinkle on top, it really tastes great..

Dida-Dadai and Thakur da-Thammi... always loves their grandchild no matter what. I remember a few instance when I came across a rude woman while speaking to them... am not proud of it...but honestly they love me whatsoever. I love them dearly as well but their love for me is untouchable :) I won't use the term RIP for your loss. But am sure she was the best as well :)

তোমার ঠাম্মা তোমার রান্নার,এই চ্যানেল-র মাধ্যমে সবার মনে চিরকাল বেঁচে থাকবেন। এভাবে দুধপূলী খাইনি কখনো। আমার মা করে আস্ত পুলি গড়ে,ভেতরে অল্প নলেন গুড় আর নারকেলের পুর দিয়ে। দুধেও গুড় দেয়। বলাই বাহুল্য আমরা গুড় একটু বেশীই ভালবাসি। এটা যদিও অনেকটা time saving। একদিন করে দেখতে হবে।
