As a follow on from a previous post, here is Ross sharing his own story as another example.
From the previous post:
We've all heard the main stage, dramatic "I used to be a drug lord and got saved in prison" type testimonies before. Not that those stories aren't inspiring, it's just that most people can't relate - and I've heard many people say "my story just isn't that interesting".
The thing is, those are exactly the stories we need to hear since most of our lives are, well... ordinary.
At Harbour, we are trying to listen to each other's ordinary faith stories and find out what it has been like for them to follow the master. So, after a quick introduction, we ask three simple questions: 1) How did you come to faith 2) What has changed along the way 3) What gives you hope for the future.
It would be amazing to eventually make a compilation of these 'mini-testimonies', so it would be lovely if some of you brave souls would consider sending in your own stories to share with the Friends of Harbour community. Go on, go on, go on. Go on.
