I don't know why, but this video makes me happy as Electronics Mechanics & Electrical Engineer (ladder bachelor's degree despide my Dyslexia) I think I took my teachers saying "You are not engineer until you start to think how everything works" and now I'm enjoying also learning all new stuff...

Wizardxeze the reason I thought I'd reply to your message is I only found today my 8 year old son has been diagnosed as being dyslexic ...he mixes up his letters back to front ...I find inspiration that you have a degree in electronics and engineering despite having dyslexia ...👍🏾

@@daveking777 Story of my Dyslexia (sorry that this is long, hope you enjoy it... or not). Context You start from Ala-aste then go to Yläaste and then you can choose between Lukio and Ammattikoulu afterwards you can go to Ammattikorkeakoulu. Finnish school system. Don't know English names and I'm too lazy to figure that shit out :D sorry. When I was on Ala-aste 4th or 5th grade Principal who was my teacher told to my mother I don't need Dyslexia papers because then I could not attend to Lukio. Mother still got me the paper because her thinking it was going to help me ^_^ Love my mom. Yes, it has helped a F ton in a lot of things. I may be abusing it little bit ^_^ but as long teachers and people understand that it means I'M SLOW READER and make a lot of mistakes and not dum then it is going to be super helpfull. Dyslexia =/= dum or lazy. I never went to Lukio but instead to Ammattikoulu where I graduated as electronic mechanics. My little sister went to Lukio and layter some where to continue and is now field of tailoring or something :D I did have 2 years when I was trying to find a job (jobless) and tried to finish Army (mandatory which I'm currently doing as civil service) at the same time I also tried to get in to Ammattikorkeakoulu (bachelor's degree studies) first time I failed for my own stupidity second time I passed. The exam has time limit, I had 1h extra, I counted the point before leaving and I had quesed 2 questions because else I would have failed - it was the "reading and understanding the text" part where I went for blind ques. Dyslexia papers help you to get more time on exams, S1 exam is one of the hardest exams I know as you get 4 books totaling to 2 000 pagers and more for 3h exam where you have to get 75% correct or you fail and it was 70€ to attend. I got 1h extra which was extended by accident to 1h 30min which was enough extra time for me to pass first try ^_^ Dyslexia papers also can be used for following. (abuse it as much as you can if school lets you) 1) Extra time on exam 2) Teacher will read books for you or audio-books 3) You may ask for teacher to high light specific words from written questions. (example in math problem you under line words like Seven and Eight and Added . . . .) 4) When there is long assignment like reading a book teacher will give extra time. 5) Get spaces in writing like I'm doing. You can ask help in places you need. Reading books help I also have problem writing. As you may have noticed my writing style seems to jump topic to topic and have no correlation between sentences :^) that is not my intention, I just suck at writing. The spaces are me to help read my own comment. I have abused my Dyslexia papers outside school also. When there are something I need from Bank, social welfare office or social insurance institution of Finland I always first show the paper then proceed words like "I would need help to solve this problem I have" simple example was when I was summer vacation I got money from Finland and had to fill a form - once a month I went to talk with lady working who talked with me 1 hour and helped me to fill the form take my bank notes that I printed and stuff. She would fill all the stuff and ask how I was doing - I never had to fill them as every time I tried it was met with 1 hours yelling to my self, asking help and making people I asked more confused than ever because even they did not know what I should fill on them after I was asking help hehe...... Dyslexia papers for me tell people that I'm slow reader who makes a lot of mistakes. I also have lazy which some how I keep straight most of the times, rest of the time the eye is gay and watching guys, I don't know, I was trying to make joke maybe... I often make words that are not there or swap letters and see things. Example on me reading wrong this week me and gf me: Oh, the hosue is on Kukkamäki (flower hill) gf: Where? me: kukkamäki! gf: laugher and where? rebeat about 5min me going about kukkamäki and her being confused. gf: Oh, you mean Kukkumäki (not sure what kukku is if anything) me: Really? *reads several times and start to go letter by letter for next 1min untill realising my A is really a U* This happens monthly where I read something to my gf wrong xD I often also point out to people like friends when I read something wrong as they normally are super funny :) Hope you had fun reading this mess and I don't mind talking it more . . . no one has ever showed any interss other than understanding that I have this small problem .... got bit exited there ^ .... hehe.... Have a great weekend

@@daveking777 Normally when I write in internet I delete 90% what I write and either give up or write again. Else they are as long and messy as my response. I also have problems finding stuff from google. I may spend weeks finding something that might take under a hour from anyone else to find. (I'm sorry for my mistakes in English part of Dyslexia that I'm still learning some) Me and my gf are probably next year gonna start up Instagram after we move to new apartment and start uploading our projects together. We are gonna make some DnD stuff, some Dolls and a lot of other same kind useless stuff which may be useful. kijaidesign is good example on Instagram :D my IT cousin is co-worker of his and he makes some cool 3D prints. Maybe you should teach your son how to make electronics stuff like RC car or Drone, you could buy kits where you get to assemble one that goes bit faster than some *censored cursing* RC car from store. . . . I mean MY GOD you get on off throttle and turning? WHY?!? That is like soooo bad. I mean when we were kids it was stick that moved and you could go different speeds and turn different amounts . . . I get sooo angry anytime I see my brothers kid playing that RC car. Sure it is expensive but worth to make with kid. my poor knowledge 1) buy a RC controller 50€ 2) Frame not sure, depends what you want 3) the RC-car parts ~100€ give or take, you can go cheap or waaay more expensive. When you build let your kid build it, I have seen some take over the project building them self and not letting kid to do anything because "they might brake it" which is why you let them so they can learn ;) I talk about experience of fucking things up and learning xD another teacher said "if you don't brake anything you have not learned anything" I think your son would like to spend time with father. He would also get a cool customized RC-car that depending what you bough can go on gravel and grass up to 20mails or 40km hour ... But hey, up to you what you want to do . . . that is just something my kids will have luxury to do because I get all these toys for my self xD my kids will be 100% spoiled brats :( I'm rambling, I'm sorry. Just remember, Dyslexia is just slowing the reading, in my test we also noted that I'm better at some parts like math and seeing problems in shapes and stuff. My Dyslexia kinda also effects in games as I'm slow at prosessing information when I move my eyes - looking to corners on screen takes 2 seconds to focus on new thing and it took in overwatch to watch both teams total of 12 people around 20 seconds - I stopped mid rank match on recording and was staring what both teams had XD which takes ~3 seconds from my friend :3

This was more of a demonstration of his skills, than it was him teaching something. He's very good at what he does, and has obviously spent a lot of time with these machines. I'm not entirely sure of what he did to fix this, but it was interesting to watch, none-the-less.

I've got an A1370 with no green light, battery not charging but will use the adapter to run. I happen to have a spare logic board for this machine, but no change. Different charger? No change. I'm thinking the problem must lie on the power circuit board. Unfortunately, my lack of equipment and knowledge is stopping me from fixing it :( Thanks, Louis, for giving me some hope of reviving this thing at some point, even if only for the fun and a learning exercise.

probably one of the worst things he has ever done, i mean running a indipendent, not licenced apple repair shop is pretty bad, you know with the possibility of appliances blowing up or catching on fire when serviced by a unlicenced repair shop, and something about allowing peoples in homes that are not screened (not going to lie, not sure how that last one works out, but that angry lady said it, so it must be true). and then on top of that all putting everyone and everything at risk by not using enough flux? no wonder that congress is voting against right to repair

I don't know if this is the right place to post this, but I can't seem to find an answer anywhere. I have a 2015 macbook air that doesn't turn on anymore, but the fan spins and the charger has a light. I tried testing the S0 power rails with my multimeter, and they all seem to be there so I'm not really sure what's wrong. Part of the board (I'm not sure which) heats up by a large amount when plugged in although I don't know if this information helps at all. Thanks in advance, any ideas are greatly appreciated.
