I appreciate the information. Found your video because I've been experiencing shoulder pain for 3-4 months. Just got MRI & results show: partial-thickness bursal-sided tear, supraspinatus tendinosis, subacromial-subdeltoid bursitis, & osteoarthrosis of the glenohumeral joint. I'm being referred to a sports medicine dr for injections & therapy. Would really appreciate hearing your thoughts & opinions regarding this specific combination of injuries.

When I do all my exercises, which take about 20 minutes, all my pain is gone. Then a couple of hours later, all the pain has returned, only more pain than before. After 4 days of this, I can not even pick up a glass, the pain is so bad. So exercises are not the road for me to go down any longer. I have had this coming on for about 6 months. I am in my mid 70s, and work hard in landscaping every day. ( or at least I used to ) now I have had to stop. I was managing ok until I started exercises.

So, I fell on my shoulder back in 1999. I was 19. I was told then that I have rotator cuff tendonitis. It hadn’t bothered me much till 2015/2016. I was in a different state and I had p t and that helped tremendously. Then in 2020/2021 I was in a different state and my shoulder started bothering me. I tried p t and this time it didn’t help. I went to a surgeon and they said I need the distal clavicle excision. I had that done and that helped but nothing done with rotator cuff. So, I have been hurting again. I did have an injection and that helped for 3 months. Im hurting again. I had an MRI and report said tendinosis. I’m in pain though. I have popping/cracking. Went to another surgeon recently. He said mri shows that everything looks great structurally. He said no surgery. His suggestions were 1 be thankful I don’t need surgery 2 modify activities 3 rest 4 ice/heat So, I asked, I live in pain? He said he wouldn’t say it that way. He said the way he would say it is be thankful I don’t need surgery and hope that the pain goes away. I have been told to find a new surgeon

Great video brother. I have a question. I have rotator cuff tendinopathy on both shoulders as well as a small supraspinatous tendon tear. Both have bursitis. Just been to the specialist and he suggested cortisone injections which I’m not a fan of. I do weight training, bjj and a active manual labour job. He told me to stop lifting weights. I’m confused am I supposed to be resting to let the inflammation calm down or do exercises that you mentioned to strengthen the muscles and tendons ??
@Alelluyah144 Жыл бұрын
I’m suffering from The same pain , don’t lift anything you will damage more your tendons , rest your arms and use heating pads to helps the tendons heal faster , physical therapy will be helpful as longer you don’t get pain or worse from it , I wish you fast recovery ❤️🩹
@Ibz87 Жыл бұрын
@@Alelluyah144 thank you so much. You too. I can’t rest then cause my job is very physical. I recently got cortisone injections cause the pain was unbearable. Feel a lot better but still tender

@@Ibz87 wow , I just can’t believe you have what I have in both shoulder and you have to work , I just can’t believe it , I only have one shoulder and I’m so depressed from this pain like right now I’m waking up which is when the pain is the worse , I don’t have to work thanks G-d , I’m disabled in my back but the shoulder is even making me more disabled, I can’t barely get dress or shave my armpit 😞

@@Alelluyah144 that’s terrible. I hope it gets better for you soon. Have you considered cortisone injections ?
@Alelluyah144 Жыл бұрын
@@Ibz87 no , No really , I believe that if I kill the pain then I would damage more the shoulder by doing movement that maybe will damage more the tendon , I will wait a little longer to see if it heals by his own .

The pain only unleashes when I walk or lean forward while sitting or holding onto something like the frame of a chair for a while. The pain is searing and what I do is to either do a dead hang, lay down on my back or lean against a chair or put a solid object in the area😊
