Another impressive job I was freinds with a guy that ran a crane yard. And did all their sheduling so we often got special treatment by them sending a certain operator or crane to help do what i needed the funniest thing that he did was send us a 20 to crane to pull the engine out of my boat the other people in the marina were amazed at the big pretty crane we hired and every one kept telling us we didnt need to pay for such a fancy rig to pull a 800 lb engine but we insisted that we. Didn’t want to drop it knowing that we weren’t. Actually paying those rates but that the guy we knew was one of our boating and fishing freinds LOL i did do commercial construction as a living and that rigging company. Was who we all used on our jobsites in that area as well and we always paid Normal rates

So, would this have been less likely to have happened if the front locks on the container were used - I would think so as the container supplies the essential rigidity to the trailer's skeleton frame?

There's absolutely NO excuse for flipping a trailer in a parking lot, no matter what kind or how top heavy it is. You're not supposed to be driving faster than 15 mph anyways. Total negligence on the part of this clown. He was obviously driving too fast when he approached that turn and the momentum caused a trailer tire to blow up. I hope he was fired on the spot and he's enjoying his new career shoveling fertilizer or flipping burgers, anywhere but behind the wheel of a truck.

Depends on the circumstances and work culture there - first you want ONE person in charge, unless you want a cluster**** as different people do what they think is 'best'. Second, some places workers get hammered by management for anything they do that the 'manager' doesn't agree with - problem with micro-managing is that in time the workers will defer ALL decisions to them. Third, some of them may just have nothing else to do - on breaks, waiting for loading/unloading, etc, and this is something to watch while waiting.

1 wreacker 1 rotator did the upriting our 20 ton towed the twisted chassis away and the 5130 had a tow immediately following this job of course there slow days but not this one thanks for watching
