Lots of information on how temperature sensors work, and the science behind them. Very simple actually. Great video. Cheers from Winnipeg.

Very Good! I have a box of used EGT probes. Your demonstration will help me determine which ones are still good and repair the ones needing repair and calibration. Thanks

Hopefully you can give some of those EGT sensors a new life. Besides it’s still fun to actually fix stuff!

Thanks again John for another great lesson, I have two rotax 447 constantly something to do. I'm am getting 85 compression when it's cold. Will a ring and gasket kit do any thing.?

I would recommend checking to see if the piston rings are stuck or sticking. I’ve got a video on that inspection. Please let me know the results.

Hello great video. Are you using the ITS-90 Table for type K thermocouple? Because my numbers are different.
@RotacRepair9 ай бұрын
I used the table supplied by Westach in their troubleshooting section. Thanks for your comment.
