Love the shirt! Anyway , when I saw this coming out from roto schlem, I was very happy to see a cell back , hyper cell was one of my overall favorites ever ! Hey Luis , so a bunch of of the pnw will be at the orleans Tuesday to Friday next week , about 350 people for a bunch of events - might consider dropping by to chat - a lot of them watch videos on KZbin, but my not be familiar with your channel.

Good video as always. I heard of the Alpha crux but never seen one. This reminds me more of the reality and the absolute power. There’s nothing wrong with clean, but having said that I heard this was supposed to be a very strong Asymmetrical solid. It looks to the middle to the bottom when it comes to ball reaction. I expected this to be at the proton physix

I’ve been saying the same thing man!!! I’m so excited for it numbers are identical colors I’m thrilled for it!!! Also I’m in Vegas for nationals man!! If we got time maybe we can collab and make something happen!!!

I love your content Luis. The Roto Grip X-Cell rolls close to a Hammer Black Widow 3.0. I don't think that's a bad thing, if anything it just gives SPI an option to get that market. Hell I want a X-Cell because of how it rolls and how similar it is to a BW.

Can I ask what your Average Ball Speed is on your first shot. One of my issues is I throw a Huge Hook, I start out in Practice looking at 18 ish so I have very few adjustments I can make and my ball speed usually around 13.8 - 14.2 doesn't help. I feel if I could increase that it would open up the lane for me but at 54 my Body seems to say this is all I got lol.

Slower speed more hook, more speed less hook. When you throw it faster its gonna skid more through the oil and give you less shape down lane. If you cant speed it up with your arm id go up 1000grit or polish your ball a little more. So if its a 4000 factory finish go up to 5000 polished. Lower grit more hook higher grit less hook. And if you dont like it you can always bring it back. Get yourself a set of bowling ball sanding pads and try it out or bring it to a pro shop. Also make sure you clean your equipment after a league night to keep it consistent. GOOD LUCK

SAME THATS THE FIRST THING THAT COMED TO MIND WITH THE BALLS COLORS. Could it be the next gen Alpha Crux. Unfortunately I had no chance in getting an Alpha Crux because I started to take bowling seriously after they discontinued it. It was my all time favorite ball in terms of colors and reaction (watching it go down the lane)

Looks great. It will go unnoticed because of Storms marketing where they announce something else the week this will release. They're burying smaller proshops with inventory that can't be moved and bowlers are missing out on some good stuff because the next thing is cooler. Seems silly to me.

I think for you on that pattern, a 3000 surface to begin would keep you on the same spot +/- 3 games.

Bro, I had the OG...you wanted a heavy oil asym that had WHEELS? This thing had more wheels than the VG at the time. It forced me so far right especially at Orleans to the point I couldn't use it (I'm left handed for those who don't know). I was able to use it more at GC, but honestly I had better options like the Theory at the time. I might drill one...but look out Phaze AI. 👀👀👀

For people that love the alpha crux, the eternal cell was out at the same time and in my opinion was better. Don’t get me wrong the alpha was a very good ball but these cell balls are just different.

Why is your release so so late? You end your slide and then release the ball close to a second later (which is crazy and has to cause power and consistency issues) Not trying to be critical Im just curious if its something youve always struggled with or if you even care or want to fix it?

@@Swazti I actually agree. I watch them bc his passion is endearing but yeah, it drives me crazy. Especially since Im currently coming back to the game and relearning all the right behaviors. It bugs me most when he blames ball reaction on the lane when its clearly a late release and a short (I call it crab claw) release.

This is the worst ball reaction you've had with a new release in as long as I can remember. Sad, I absolutely loved the Rouge Cell, but probably best for my wallet. I'll get the Ion, and wait for an actual Crux with AI to be released. No way it isn't coming eventually. Plus Storm is already teasing their new Big Tank, the pink blue and white test ball in the Ion videos. Feel bad for the Cell line, such an iconic core and ball from the past, and this really feels like it's going to fall flat.

Whats the history i have a 2008 or 2011( cant remember) Cell that i got the from one of the A-2 mechanics. Been using it in league and i love it compared to my motiv forge. Do they go back further than that?
