Rough idle problems Mercedes w202

This is a Mercedes C180T (WDB 202081) with the 2L M111 952 engine.
Long story short: Had a leaky cam sensor which the Norwegian MB importer never followed up the campaign to fix. Changed the sensor and added small pigtail wire to stop more spillage into the wiring. Since then I've changed MAS twice, new cat and middle silencer and changed the O2 sensors twice. After each change the ECU has been reset and it runs decently for a short while, then it's back to this with the check engine light on. No sign of any oil left in the plugs; so any advice would be very helpful as the mechanics can't seem to find the problem.

I just solved this problem, it was une MAF sensor. Good luck guys

Your car runs great compared to mine! I just replaced the wiring harness and I had to teach the car how to drive. The first 50 miles were terrifying. Now most of the truly scary issues are worked through, and I'm left with a wildly rough idle the gradually dips down to zero.

I had the same problem and it ended up being my cam shaft attenuator, the round thing under the plastic at the front top of the engine. As soon as I replaced it it fixed it.

throttle body loom or the fuel pressure regulator ! if it back fires and wont reach above 4000 RPM possibly the ECU ! a remap will work or swapping

same problem! clean the throttle body using cleaner and repair the air filter body from the joint right above the engine

What about it bouncing a lot faster that is shown in this video and then after about 20 seconds goes away and is nice and smooth. Also, needle bounces when turning car off

Check throttle body and injector harness.
