Purchased this knife a couple of years ago and find it very handy for all sorts of reasons and various jobs on a daily basis. Inoffensive little knife and love the jig bone on this.

Yea it's one of those that kinda gets lost in the weeds of RR releases. I'm glad I reviewed it. Thanks Paul.

I’ll tell you what that is one of my favorite knives I ever picked up from rough Ryder great piece thrifty!!!!! It’s could be one of the best ones rough ryder came out with!!!!! Thanks buddy stay well
@mynamesjustbill15832 жыл бұрын
I remember you reviewing this awhile back and loving it. Don’t see this knife come up in many videos but it’s certainly one of Rough Ryders best ‘one off’ knives. (At least I’ve never seen it with any other covers.) I hope it makes a resurgence because my son snatched up the one I ordered the second I opened it.

Strong praise buddy. Thumbs up, I'm glad it got some love.

You are right on this one having the better blade selection. Good review as always. Never understood the hate some people have towards a spey blade… call it a “reverse tanto” and maybe folk will change their mind
@ThriftyKaniffy2 жыл бұрын
Probably just the association with nut removal. Not something a guy tends to want to think about.

Hello my friend, Nice little model well finished and not expensive. This allows you to have fun without having to ruin yourself. This brand is very well distributed in France unlike many American brands that I love. American brands must also think of us who are on the Old Continent :) signed ZITO

I wish they would do a better job of worldwide distribution. Thanks AKE.

In that time the Amber jigged bone RRs I got were all very good levels of QC so just kept buying them. I've lost count on how long I've had this model, it's my most used RR, the bolsters aren't as shiny as they used to be but rather than that and the odd scratch it's not a lot different from when I bought it. For the price an outstanding little knife.

@daven.76852 жыл бұрын
Thank you for this excellent review, it came at just the time I was looking for a new multi-function 5th pocket knife. The 3 1/4” closed length is the perfect size for this purpose, and you don’t see many whittlers with this handle shape in this smaller size. The whittler pattern has the advantage of offering three blades without the need to “crink” or bend the sheepsfoot blade, as in a traditional two-spring stockman design. Also, I know a lot of people dislike the spey blade, but I found a short spey blade to be the perfect fingernail cleaner for my 92-year-old Dad, who has very sensitive finger tips.
@ThriftyKaniffy2 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the feedback Dave. Some really nice observations. I use the spine side of a pen blade for fingernail cleaning sometimes,

I also reviewed the RR375 a few months ago, absolutely amazing value for the money. Personally, I would like the knife a little longer, so the secondary blades can be slightly thicker ideally. Great first knife for a small handed whittler 👌 Hope your well John 🙏 All the best, Gus 👍
@ThriftyKaniffy2 жыл бұрын
Thanks much Gus. I like the blades a little beefier as well, but for a small carry it does well enough.

On SMKW YT post about the newest cinnamon bone carbon bladed series, he said they have knives just coming in that were designed and put into production almost two years ago. 🤔
@ThriftyKaniffy2 жыл бұрын
Yea, that's correct, Seb. From design to delivery there is about a two year turn-around, but due to delays they don't always come out in the exact order they were conceived. Pretty typical among the manufacturing processes of things I've been involved in.
