I think the voice chat is great! Had lots of fun talking to the players in my group. The negotiation aspect is definitely something one can utilize to the fullest on vc, given everyone else is willing to talk

Dude niiice game man. What a run. That board was so open haha holy. Love the vc component tbh. Especially with all gms since theyre all super good. Jax saw the writing on the wall there lol. Harlow tried running in our game and of course he was after me in turn order sooo i never got the chance. But i won game 3. Hope we run into each other st some point!

Good neighbor is a recipe for disaster in 70%... or at least a recipe for a quick game. People are way too trusting, leaving most of their territories with 1s! You would think grandmasters would know better to gum up the board with troops and play with a collective defense so it is not so easy for any single player to win before the second sets come in. I may not have watched enough 70% games, but the one player asking about how does purple take cards in the long term seems like a funny question for a game mode that is designed to be a short-term win condition. Great game Pete! I was thinking for a turn or two for you to just go for it! The board was ripe for the taking. GL in the tournament.

This is risk played at the highest level. Incorporating everything you can do without communication plus adding in the skills of verbal negotiation with the voice chat component

Omg voice chat makes it so boring, everyone asking which territory they can own and if someone attacks another they’re like « WHAT ARE YOU DOING? » 😅 good thing Risk isnt always like that

It's definitely better for higher tier play. It makes negotiation a skill that actually gets used, and reduces misunderstanding. Less thrill, but I find it more interesting overall to see the highest skill out there
