Round 2! Blooming on glass for stained glass effect

I intended to have this video uploaded much earlier in the day but ended up buried in projects I couldn't put off any longer. That's just how days off go in my world! I appreciate your patience. Ultimately, I am experimenting on glass with blooms to get the desired translucency to mimic stained glass from the back side when hung in the light. This is 2 tries that I think will work well. I did do a couple swipe techniques but they came out horrible and I didn't feel it benefitted anyone to have to watch that. If there was a learning experience in there I would have left their creation in. They just simply didn't come out the way I needed them to. SO, I ended up with a total of 3 blooms that I am relatively happy with and will select on to show you the jewelry banding technique I've come up with to allow these to hang and swirl freely. That video will be coming up shortly, as soon as the resin has set well enough to handle being placed face down and adhesive applied. I am shooting for mid to late next week since I typically feel comfortable with handling after about 5 days of curing.
I don't have to ability to provide the exact recipe for this particular pillow because, as I stated in the video, I have no idea what actually ended up in that cup or in what quantities. I try to avoid such unknowns however sometimes you just have to trust your instinct. Translucent pillow seems to be quite forgiving so I feel comfortable telling you that a mix of eggshell sheen base 3 or deep base untinted paint that is on the thick side can tolerate equal parts mixed with American floetrol and a small amount of gloss gel doesn't hurt it if it gets too thin. You still need the benefits of eggshell's tooth and the paint consistency regardless. If you experiement, you're sure to find a specific mix that works well for you. The priorities here are translucency and maintaining cell structure through creation and drying.
My bloom paints are mixed the same as usual as is my cell activator.
I purchased my glass rounds and squares from Dollar Tree and, as long as they are clear, texture doesn't play a big role and can even lend some unique effects.

This is just a tip from experience: Floetrol dries clear, you can use that for a base coat to slide the colors across. You can even thin down clear glue with a clear varnish as a base. 😊

The reason I added floetrol to my untinted house paint was to add transparency. If you use all floetrol, it dilutes your bloom paint colors(because I used all transparent or semi paints) and your cells won't hold up, they melt away. Floetrol is great in regular fluid art but not in blooming. Thank you for the tip!
