Ha no way dude these guys are standing on the shoulders of Giants ..Stanley bill monroe now so far these driver's ain't even in the same hall son. These are not ready biscuits this is country with a helluva vocal and somebody there is smart love the pastel chords. I want to hear them in 9 years. Now I've sat beside a couple of bluesmen real blues ..it's really loud when it wants to fill the hall with a wail...or high pitched scream bluegrass is an indigenous thing don't forget grandad Stanley he's in the family we seen him so much lol.. but the chest punch of a good vocal line these guys bluegrass players too ..notice the rollercoaster vocals nobody builds bigger rollercoasters than blues and blue Grass men. I'm not hearing that in these genetically organic songs .. haha thing is you cannot fake some blues baby either you're hurting or you ain't I think we all know the difference..this guy I think he works really hard but he's holding back. When's the last time somebody s singing made you cry.

The "Swampers” were “The Muscle Shoals Sound Rhythm Section", a studio band that hung out at Muscle Shoals Sound Studio, that cranked out tons of classic recordings from Wilson Pickett, Aretha Franklin, Rolling Stones (Wild Horses) and Willie Nelson, and more; and of course Skynyrd recorded Street Survivors there, and the studio and band are mentioned in Sweet Home Alabama: "Now Muscle Shoals has got the Swampers, and they've been known to pick a song or two..." This bluegrass band Steeldrivers just recorded their last album there and it is awesome. Listen to this song. “Good Corn Liquor” and you can see they got the sound, and they are not your father’s bluegrass band. Great stuff guys!
