What breaks my heart is that hormones are mainly driven by stress. I have PCOS too and I’ve suffered from super long cycles, extreme mood swings and inconsistent weight for the past eight years. In June I made a promise to myself I’m going to take better care of myself. I got into fitness, walking and streching routine (I sit behind a desk at work so every morning I walk to the bakery for fresh bread for about 2km, I do at least 30 minute workout in the evening and then stretch), I’ve been taking vitamins regularly and I pushed myself to organize more ME time. I’ve noticed HUGE changes over these past months and now when I’ve had super stressful week, I see how rapidly it all goes away. My skin is super bad, I feel like I’m gaining weight every single day and of course it affects my mood a lot 😭 But I know I have to keep going and praying my body will get used to it at some point 🙏🏼

I have been doing acupuncture for stomach problems and you need to go about 3 to 5 times at first (1 time per week). After that you can try spacing the sessions every couple weeks and when everything seems to be control you should go about 4 times a year (each seasons or every 3 months). It really does help a lot.

I started a keto lifestyle this week to cut down my carb intake which has been screwing me up AND on my 2nd week of taking Ovasitol, my period came back ! I haven’t had a natural period since October 2018 (I was going through psychological issues and was put on meds and it screwed my hormones up more than they already were) NOW HERE WE ARE! 😩❤️

Thank you for sharing Melissa! I can’t tell you how much this helped me feel less alone/overwhelmed. I went off the pill in June and have fallen off my routine a bit as well. Will definitely be using some of these tips! ☺️💕

Vitex caused me to break out badly. I've stopped all supplements tbh. I drink Red Raspberry Leaf tea instead consistently. Spearmint tea is also good! What helped me in the long run is stopping sugar (even natural ones, I used to use Coconut Sugar but didn't help). And also, more beef in the diet and not being afraid of animal fat and meat. I've also stopped using vegetable oils as they are high in Omega 6 and are always rancid. I used to buy Maca powder a lot and used it for two years or so and I don't think it did any good, it was just expensive. I am aware of Castor Oil packs and it is very good herbalism-wise! But I would rather choose infused Castor Oil instead of just only Castor Oil. You can infuse it with herbs good for fertility especially if you have cysts. Thanks for sharing your experience to help fellow PCOS warriors!

You can take inositol in capsule form instead of the powder you were taking before. Way more convenient in my opinion. The spearmint tea you used to drink would also be great to keep doing. These things helped me with my pcos and getting pregnant.

Omg thanks for this video, at this point I’m ready to try anything. I haven’t had my period in over a year after I took my IUD out in July 2019. My doctors don’t seem concerned because my blood work is normal. But I’m 26 and should be getting regular periods!
@IAmHisBeloved5
@IAmHisBeloved5 3 жыл бұрын
Conventional doctors don’t usually check hormones when you get your blood work done. I tried to get my hormones checked and my doctor questioned as to why and asked if I was trying to get pregnant. My periods are normal but come to find out, my hormones are unbalanced. I had to go to a holistic doctor to get extensive testing and blood work done.

Thanks for sharing!! I have PCOS similar to yours, irregular periods, adrenal issues (high cortisol), skin issues, hair etc. My naturopath recommended Restorative Formulations ADR Px L-BP 75 Veggie Caps, Douglas Laboratories ProgestoMend, and Ovasitol Inositol Powder by Theralogix. I take them at different periods of my cycle. I’ve been taking the first 2 for 4 months now and my energy levels and skin have greatly improved. I haven’t had painful period cramps in months. People have been complementing my skin all the time which is unheard of haha. My periods are still irregular but that could be due to high stress (I’m still working on it). Definitely check with your doctor but maybe one of those could be worth looking into : ) I’ve tried acupuncture and castor oil packs in the past with no success, but everyone is different. Good luck on your journey!

Also just to note to any female who regularly uses THC and has irregular periods - this may be a contributing cause! I notice that when I take a break from THC my periods finally become regular again. There are a few scientific studies that suspect that marijuana can prolong ovulation or even prevent it from happening on a regular basis.
