Rowena putting on anything up on KZbin makes my day, whether it’s light or meaty. It always feels like a catching up with a friend. Thank you for the work that you do, Rowena. And you are sooo beautiful! 💕

So I’m chronically ill and have had to give up on having a steady morning routine because of it. What I try to focus on are they very little meaningful things. Like being grateful I didn’t vomit or faint that morning. Also things like having breakfast, even if it’s just a meal replacement beverage. That’s what I focus on.

this was SO good to hear Rowena doesn't love the billion dollar routine haha, I tried sticking to it for about 4 months and honestly it was so tiring and long. The game changer for me was auditing my energy and planning around that instead. Thank you Ro for everything!

The first step of monk's morning routine hit really different, I'm tempted to try it myself, it seems like it definitely puts you in a whole new perspective right after waking up, thank you for trying these morning routines and sharing that with us! ❤

The best thing I have ever done to improve my morning energy is NOT eating after 8:30 pm the night before. It really was a profound difference for me.

hi!! I love your content! The cold water shock is actually a DBT technique based on research! It’s great for anxiety, especially as a quick tool for someone having a panic attack. I find it’s not needed as a regular practice, but is SUPER effective if the anxiety is overwhelming as an “as needed” tool.

I thought at first that I wanted to try only the monk's morning routine, as it has piqued my interest the most. But while I was writing it down, I realized that it would probably be better for me if I just created one that resonates the most with me-and it's a mix of some of the actions from the routines mentioned here plus a few of my usual. Thanks, Rowena! This is really helpful to me. :) 💕

the monk morning routine was the only routine that could make you cry, and YOUR morning routine _video_ was the only one that could make ME cry 😂 I need to be more present in my body.

Three books that are good for this are "The 5AM Club", "30 Days to Reduce Anxiety by Harper Daniels" and "The Body Keeps The Score". I recommend getting those three in combo, amz might have them. It's so important to build a morning routine to preemptively manage anxiety. It took me a while but I now have a good one and it's still evolving.

@@Politegirl686 As soon as I get up I hydrate a lot with water. Then I do 10-15 min of stretching and deep breathing, then a mindfulness meditation, then sit in silence for 10min, then journal a little (even if it's just a sentence), then I'll make breakfast with a green tea..

2:37 just wanna say that even if it’s not “sunny” there’s still sunlight filtering through the clouds that is very good for you & your biorythm!!! Sunlight does way more than provide vitamin D, it actually has like 20+ benefits, so even of the sun is behind the clouds it’s a good thing to go outside and take in some daylight:)

I have been putting off watching your videos for a while because I know I’ve been slacking on my self care for too long and I thought watching your content would make me feel guilty for everything I’m not doing but today I woke up and told myself “this is enough, you’re in a funk and you need to get out of it” and the first thing I did was go to your channel and watched this video and these morning routines seem actually doable and beneficial. So thank you, definitely going to try this tomorrow morning ❤

Thinking about death I think is the most powerful one, because it makes you reflect on what you would do differently and its easy to see what you may change if you actually had years to live, I was thinking about it with the video and it was...intense.

Hi Rowena, not sure if you’ll see this (I have LOVED all your videos for the past few years), but I’m wondering if you could elaborate on your mindset, activities you did, places you went, things you thought about, etc. before, during, and after your trip to Korea that made it so fulfilling & healing? I’m going for the second time in my life back there to the motherland, and I’ve been in a period of stagnation as well, so I want to get the most out of this opportunity in a personal way (not necessarily a tourist way). Thank you for your amazing content!!❤

This was fun to watch I think I would be open to trying the Monk and the Kendall Jenner routine. Very insightful. OMG! AGAIN, ROWENA YOU'VE HIT IT AGAIN. I am also not a big fan of showers. I also deal with dry skin. I hate being cold so I am really scared to do the cold showers. If anything I think it would take the fun out of my morning routine. I don't believe the billionaire routine is for me. Thank you so much for sharing your journey with us, Ro. I also am curious of trying the ginseng. I actually can't have caffeine and have been looking for alternatives to help give me energy in the mornings. Is this a good option? Or if anyone has any other suggestions I would appreciate it!

thank youuu 🤭🫶 can def pick and choose habits from diff routine that speak to us and create our very own routine!! as for ginseng, would highly recommend esp as the weather is cooling down (it may be too “heaty” per TCM during summer time) but it does have a more earthy flavor that’s an acquired taste 😬 there’s also athletic greens & magic mind superfood shots!

@@rowena ☺Thank you so much! I'll keep a note to order the ginseng and try it out for myself. I'll also give the other suggestions a shot and see which one provides me with the most energy. I have a feeling the ginseng will be enough though. I'll be sure to buy some honey for the taste, lol. We got this! 🦾
