These videos on rowing are great, I can't believe I'm only looking into this information now. For the last 10 years I've been doing it all wrong, assuming the damper needs to be at 10 in order to get 'proper' exercise. I'm a tall man, and my setup on the concept 2 has been Damper: 10, Foot Pedal: 3 or 4 (which is actually above the ball of my foot and closer to the middle). I'd then proceed to blast for 15 mins at average 1000 Cal/hr 34 stroke per minute, and the reason I don't do any longer than 15 mins is because at that point I'm completely fatigued. I've not really ever improved over all that time. I'm gonna try lowering a few settings and going a little slower and see if I can make it to my goal of burning 1000 calories daily.
