Roxanne Tickle Vs Giggle - what is a woman? An Australian judge rules that biology is "changeable"

What is a woman? The debate rages on. This week, a court in Australia decided that the trans identifying male Roxanne Tickle is 100% a woman.
Roxanne sued the social media platform Giggle for Girls - which aims to be a female only space - claiming she was unlawfully barred from using the app in 2021 after the firm and its CEO Sall Grover said she was a man.
The judge Robert Bromwich said “sex is changeable,”
“Sex is not confined to being a biological concept referring to whether a person at birth had male or female physical traits”
Physical traits like having a cock or having XY chromosomes.
So gender identity, rather than biological reality, is now defining what is a woman in Australia. And more than that - sex is no longer a biological reality.
The judge in this case is now saying that chromosomes and science are irrelevant - what determines whether someone is male or female is how they feel.

The 2013 amendment to the Sex Discrimination Act made it unlawful to discriminate against anyone on the basis of their "sexual orientation, gender identity and intersex status". The judge found that this law applied in this case, that's all. The Parliament never intended that this law should allow men to enter women's services and spaces simply by claiming to be women, but the judge found that that was the effect. Having got us into this mess, only Parliament can get us out. If that's the law, then the law must be changed.

From a straight white Cis(normal) gendered male I don't see this as gaslighting so much as karma inflicted on women for years of militant feminism. The case was NOT adjudicated on gender actual or claimed. It was adjudicated according to anti-discrimination legislation. It is illegal for Sal Grover to deny membership to Roxanne Tickle on the grounds that he is a male. That is what the case was decided on. Whatever Roxanne Tickle identifies as is relevant to the outrage but not the outcome.

The judge has to follow the law and Roxanne unfortunately has a legally altered document that says female. With all due respect, people like Roxanne Tickle are a subset of men not a subset of women/females. Transpeople want birth certificates, passports, and driver licenses that list a different sex to allow better access to government benefits, travel, etc. If you want to forfeit being a male, that does not make you female, you are still a male (albeit a feminine male). Time for woke to wake up. My driver's license will says I weigh 175lbs, that does not alter the gravitational pull of earth.

Unfortunately, we live in a men's world/society, which actually does not care very much about women's and girls' status in medical science, but is appeasing men's and transwomen's desires instead. Unless some/several/most famous specialists declare by medical expertise, in front of the court, that transwomen are not the same as women but males to whom femininity is a fetish and that such males are looking for more and more stimuli to satisfy their sexual desiderata, what is leading the transwomen to claim, that they belong to the opposite sex and have plastic surgeries, there will be no change in a judge's mind and sentence. - Sadly, nowadays it is up to the lawyers, to finde respected experts, who will give evidence based on practical survey and declare that transwomen are not women at all but fetishists, what history/society proved long ago. - You might recognise, that there are no problems with women/transmen; they are just not that much aggressiv though sympathetic instead.

There was a concerted push by feminists against clubs and associations having a male only membership. I remember this because I was a member of an Apex Club which was part of a "young men's service organisation". ( Millennial's and younger can look up the definition of a service club on their phones.) The feminist push eventually resulted in it becoming illegal to discriminate club or association membership along the lines of one's sex. ( gender hadn't yet been debased to a meaningless terminology back then ) If I remember correctly, the Country Women's Association ( CWA ) was granted an exception. I could be wrong about that but the CWA swung considerable clout with the Country Party. So the Tickle vs Giggles decision was based on legislation created at the behest of feminists wanting to invade male only spaces. If you've managed to read this far I hope you can appreciate the irony in this. The chickens have taken a long time coming home to roost. Roxanne Tickle cannot legally be denied membership of Giggles because:- If you call him a man, denying membership based on his gender is illegal. It's basically just a way to free up government spending from pursuing actual crime; which is long-winded, technical and costly to the State. If we can re-define criminality to be based only on subjective thought rather than objective proof then that saves the State and The Crown millions per year by totally redefining crime not as the actions achieved but by the actions desired. So you now don't have to be guilty of a criminal action but only culpable in the potential action. And in this, one cannot realistically argue against an action they haven't committed, but our current laws suggest even a suggestion is equivalent to an action, so there is little room to ever plead "not guilty" because you cannot plead either to a speculative action that never arrived. They are genuinely removing the concept of "innocent until proven guilty" by assuming all protests or stances against the charge will result in extended punity which is the direct opposite of our legal system. They are supposed to prove you guilty, not you to prove they are correct.

The irony is that the legislation underpinning the Tickle vs Giggle decision was passed because of agitation by feminist groups who were offended by the idea that there were clubs and associations in Australia that dared to restrict membership to men only. I find the Tickle vs Giggle amusingly karmic. Whatever Roxanne Tickle identifies as is relevant to the outrage but not the outcome.

Is this person qualified to be a judge ? My 2 year old son is better qualified. Just proves the judicial system is a joke.
