My God, Per! The Sweet Hello, The Sad Goodbye in the 30th Anniversary edition of Joyride release has got me crying! The clarity, spatial positioning and quality is one of the best recordings I have ever heard. Mind you, it's 2024 as I write this. Beautiful, as always, Roxette.

This is crazy. I never paid attention to Roxette. As a child, I liked "The Look" when it came out. Growing up, I turned to grunge, punk, indie, old rock n roll, ska, mod, soul, garage rock, electronic music etc - a lot of different music from different decades. Until now, I never once pressed/clicked Play and listened to a Roxette song though. I just did not really care. Since moving form Germany to Sweden in 2005, I even came to like Per's other band, Gyllene Tider. And here, 43 years old, I sit; it's 4 o'clock in the morning and I have been playing Roxette videos and live versions for 2 hours, after having heard a cover of a Marie Fredriksson solo song on "På spåret" (quiz on Swedish TV, where I also had no problems understanding Gyllene Tider clues). Only now I finally appreciate what a cool band Roxette was. It all fits together so well - great songwriting and the voices complement each other so well. And Marie... How come I never paid attention as a teenager...!! I totally love her voice, now that I listen. But also her whole style, now that I watch. I'm glad about this. With some delay, Roxette have entered my life. Edit October 2024: I own the single on vinyl now :-) And, what I forgot to mention earlier: The lyrical reference to Tiny Tim in this song and the Tiny Tim background singing later on: pure genius!!! And with 2 years of time in between, I can safely say that this song entered my personal Hall of Fame of songs. And that does not happen easily.

I am currently crying so hard right now. This is seriously the most beautiful, well put together story ever. I can’t believe how magical it was 1:12. That part truly made me shed a tear. And especially at 6:34 that part was just so truly heart touching words can not describe the series of emotions I felt. I absolutely loved the climax it had insanely excellent detail. Oh and we can’t forget the conclusion. The conclusion was the greatest and saddest conclusion I have ever seen better than any of the books I have read. Thank you so much for creating this absolute masterpiece. This is essentially the most important masterpiece of film history. It is a tragedy that this, it can’t be called a film, but a transcendent emotional experience, will be inaccessible for most. It beautifully encapsulates the human struggle to its basics; suffering, pleasure, faith, despair. It connects with the characters within the viewers, individuals suppressed within our own subconscious. It stays vibrant, fresh, and revolutionizes the art of storytelling and filmmaking while making a damn of statement on what it means to be human. Entertaining, gripping, and simply exhilarating. This might be the most impactful piece of art I’ve come across in my life, and I’m definitely coming back to it in the near future to study it more deeply. this is an absolute masterpiece , I was brought to tears listening to this and seeing the bacon go whirly swirly in a circle countless times. it absolutely moved my soul , and I don't think I can ever be the same. this bacon has changed my entire mental state , I am now at peace with who I am and what I will be doing later in my life. i have forgiven all my enemies and now I am a man of a pacifist life. I will move on , gotta move on , as the song says. the bacon is so inspirational , it shares it vast wisdom with all of us , and we are all so lucky that it would bestow it's great words with us. we are all children on bacon. hail bacon. hail bacon. The spinning bacon, rotating in one direction with this music... This made me tear up. How could such a bacon do such a thing? I'm struck by awe by this masterpiece. Especially when the bacon spins, showing its lightly salt covered tan skin. I can hear the crunch just from here, and so as the beautiful sound of the bacon scraping the dark, smooth velvet floor. The flavor, music and everything can be heard, tasted, seen and felt from a screen. You can really hear the breaths between the music artist, empathizing her love for this rotating bacon. Truly what I call modern art. This was the most legendary performance by any piece of bacon I have ever watched. The acting was top tier and very life changing. This is one of the greatest work from a piece of bacon I have ever seen especially on 57:42.I am currently crying so hard right now. Ha, how time flies... I remember going through a rough period in my life at that point, and it felt strangely comforting to see Marie, Per and the band in such high spirits. They recorded those songs while on the Joyride tour and, also around that time, too, Marie got in a serious relationship with Micke Bolyos. That latter bit was bittersweet to me as I, along with many young lads, had had a crush on her since Pearls of Passion, and was forced by said circumstances to finally realize that our love just wasn't meant to be... ;-)

This song has everything: catchy tune, good guitars, nice harmony, that rock-country feeling, clever lyrics and perfect metrics, airy choirs, easy to listen and understand, somewhat nostalgic/romantic, no-non sense. This is *EXACTLY* how pop music should be. Masterpiece in its genre, a manual to all musicians. Fuq this trap music with all of those "yo yo", "bro", "killah", basically without any meaning.

Lyrics: 0:00 I see you comb your hair and gimme that grin It's makin me spin now, spinning within Before I melt like snow, I say hello How do you do! I love the way you undress now, baby begin Do your caress, honey, my heart's in a mess I love your blue eyed voice, like Tiny Tim shines through How do you do! Well, here we are, crackin' jokes in the corner of our mouths And I feel like I'm laughin' in a dream If I was young, I would wait outside your school 'Cause your face is like the cover of a magazine How do you do the things that you do? No-one I know could ever keep up with you How do you do! Did it ever make sense to you to say bye, bye, bye? I see you in that chair with perfect skin Well, how have you been, baby, livin' in sin? Hey, I gotta know did you say hello? How do you do? Well, here we are, spending time in the louder part of town And it feels like everything's surreal When I get old I will wait outside your house 'Cause your hands have got the power meant to heal How do you do the things that you do? No-one I know could ever keep up with you How do you do! Did it ever make sense to you to say bye, bye, bye?
