Great conclusion to Siren which is a masterpiece and Roxy Music’s most accessible LP to conservative listeners up tothat time . Sad that like Marc Bolan’s TRex , Bryan Ferry and Roxy Music were about ten years too early for the United States and were a cult item . Still both made it into the RocknRoll Hall of Fame recently

Quite the opposite. Bowie was heavily into early Roxy Music and Brian Ferry

Agreed with the above (Bowie being influenced by Roxy), but the real common denominator is the Velvet Underground - David Bowie worked with Lou Reed, and John Cale worked with Andy Mackay, Phil Manzanera and Brian Eno - and then David Bowie worked with Brian Eno.
