He got frightened off by rogue motorists! I did my fare share of thumbing a lift in RAF uniform, always got picked up and NEVER waited more than a few minutes either. Those were good days back then!

In no way disrespecting RH (I'm a lifelong fan, he's a brilliant lyricist, guitarist and singer) but if you want to have your fill of superlatively stylish and technically brilliant acoustic guitar playing, check out Antonio Forcione. He's also incredibly innovative and humourous as well as passionate in his playing.
