Roy Wood Jr has such a fantastic story telling method. I love how his bookend his anecdotes. He starts off one joke, veers completely off onto something else, then ultimately ends the joke by referring to the first joke he started with. It really improves the joke as a whole.

I'm going to call it right now, Roy is about 2 years away from dropping a killer comedy special that will propel him into the upper echelon of modern comedians (the Burr's, Segura's, Chapelle's). His topics are so advanced and his timing is so crisp, all he needs is a concise hour to put him on center stage. It's going to happen, and in ten years we will be counting him among the greatest to ever do it. This man is about to pop off. Mark my words.

Help end the slavery that still happens today ? These are just suggestions. The biggest one would be to idk try to understand what people mean when they share things that are supposed to be humorous and arent taking some form of stand against white people simply sharing an experience.Just so you know more than 50 years does not undo over 400 years of inequality, inhumane treatment, and down right assholery. If you think it does then you still have a long way to go.

I’m white and I believe it is so important to remember where you came from. One of my ancestors was shot by police along with 32 other Irishmen during the 1863 Draft Riots in NY who were all trying to burn down a black orphanage with children still inside. Thank goodness the kids were okay, because the police killed my great-great (great?) grandfather and his wretched friends in time. I know I didn’t do that and that I had no part in that. I know that my brother and first cousin, who are his descendants, are biracial. That doesn’t mean for a second that I should forget what he did or that I should do anything less than live each day in a way he, a racist asshole, would have hated. It’s not shitting on you specifically when people talk about the crimes some of our ancestors perpetuated, it’s just shining a light on topics that many of us may have only learned a sugar coated version of. Until I was in my early 20s, I only knew of the positive side of my family’s history, such as my grandfather carpooling and the whole family being good friends with black neighbors in the 50s-70s because they lived on the same street and the dads worked at the same company, both sides of my family adopting and fostering children of all different backgrounds and loving the kids as their own, my parents moving to my mother’s home town because of the great mix of all different types of people. That doesn’t erase that monster ancestor, it just makes me glad that starting with his children and from there forth, my family chose to be NOTHING like him, and further inspires me to follow in their footsteps and speak out against racism and judge others for their character, not their skin color.

the hell! farmer welfare? heck naw homie. How bout this: farmers grow it and charge what it cost to grow plus a little extra for their pocket. If you're poor and it costs too much don't buy it. There are over 20,000 edible vegetables on earth, if you're too poor for kale (which isn't expensive btw) there are 19,999 other vegetables you can both grow yourself instead of buy and eat, even apartment people.
