I've taken the pillion seat pad off mine and use the frame as a rack (with the same "tidying up" M8x10mm stainless bolts). Bit annoyed I sold my Monolock base and box last year but some of the new Givi boxes will look pretty ok I think. Thanks for the video.

Him Caron, Great to hear that you enjoyed my video 👍 It works great and there’s no issue regarding overloading. Also as the top box is positioned where the pillion passenger would be it doesn’t upset the balance or handling of the bike. So easy to take on and of when not required 😁

Ahh, so that's how its done. Yours is the monokey base plate, looks bigger than the Monolock version (which I have). Will have to take it off and have a play.🙂👍

The PL9052 Rear rack for the classic 500 is really nice unfortunately it doesnt fit in the classic 350

Thanks for the info, much appreciated. I’m happy with the setup I have, it didn’t cost me anything as I already had all the parts. It’s also incredibly strong as it’s designed to take the weight of a pillion passenger. I can also use the top boxes from my other bikes. Hope you enjoyed the video 🏍️👍

That's a very useful video, thank you. In a previous video of yours you fitted something to plug the holes left when you removed the rear footrests. My hearing is no longer sharp enough to catch what you called them, would you be kind enough please to direct me to where I might purchase some? Regards Edward

Hello Sir. I have installed springs on rider seat,but when I remove pillion seat then my rider seat comes off from front lock. How can I fix this 😢
@tigerness55555 ай бұрын
Hi Rahulamre I don’t fully understand why this is happening to your bike. All I can think of is that you’ve fitted the springs incorrectly. The springs are purely decorative and do not support the seat in any way, the original front seat fixing plates must not be removed. Hope this helps TN
