1 or 2 incidences in 10k bikes is miniscule and most probably external factors.

Yes, very few service centres are using the torque wrench others not even heard about it.

It’s all because of crappie non R&D crash guard fixed by unskilled mechanics who has no idea on torque requirements.

Yes, This time engine is not mounted on the chassis like Himalayan 411, instead engine become the structural part (Strengthen the chassis) hence the loose engine from the chassis leads to the chassis failure. 2. The chassis is designed with enough safety factor in order to withstand the crash conditions. Hence failure of Chassis in normal conditions were never possible. Chances of few QC flaws during the mass production are there.

One question... Nowadays in most of the bike's chassis design engine is the stress member and many ppl add accessories from the market. So as per RE does it mean the we are not supposed to use after market accessories? In any bike quality of the design, chassis and the engine should be the paramount for any manufacturer and not just focus on the cost. The biker from TN was not even doing offroading when the incident happened. This means that RE is saying only buy accessories from the company and not from outside.

Officially RE cannot support aftermarket accessories but they ignores. The Himalayan hanle black bike from Tamil Nadu has been repaired by RE they have offered RSA and replaced the Chassis and he is going ahead with his Kashmir Trip.
