Are you applying only front brake or both brakes together? I always fear that applying only front break may lead to bike skidding or going in the air with momentum?

for starter always 70%(front) - 30%(rear)..more advance you get increase the percent on the front break like about 90% and 10% for rear break. Secret of front break not to press suddenly apply pressure gradually first with 2 fingers and then increase the pressure and shift the bike weight to front you will know, its easy you need to practice.
