In the 60s RE had one called interceptor so they are keeping to their roots.

The Interceptor is more for touring. Although you like the Continental GT it will give you wrist pain and back ache if you go on long tours and on rough patches as we get over here in India 🇮🇳. I live very close to the foothills of the Himalayan ranges and for me the Interceptor was the best choice to deal with the terrains. One more thing, the Japanese 650s might be powerful, but only slightly and the equipment list is not so much. Think about the brands Royal Enfield is using. The bought Harris Performance and they are world famous for building race chassis, and now they build the RE twins, you have Bybre brakes with steel braided cable, Bosch front and rear ABS, Gabriel suspensions and that beautiful parallel twin motor. To top it off it’s actually cheaper than the competition that you told. At the moment it’s the best 650 twin cylinder bike that you can buy if you are not into racing.

What was the reason why the guards will not let you in? Where is that place anyway? Also, that idiot kamote rider who made the U-turn is the reason why motorcyclists are getting bad rap from other motorists. Their license should be taken away until they learn the rules and regs.

There are certain "high end" places in manila where they don't allow the ordinary motorcycles to enter they only allow big bikes that is why you can hear the guards asking "ilang cc ito?" (how many cc are the bikes). Based on the video, i think they did not answer the guard's question about the cc and the guards probably didn't know that these are 650cc bikes. And they got suspicious when they just said that they are just passing through and not actual guests of the hotel or casino.

@@gakigirl true, i still remember the first time i experienced motorcycle discrimination around 10 years ago. I was naive before since i always drove cars so i never knew that this kind of "matapobre" discrimination towards motorcycles existed. I think you can feel it more if you're both a car driver and motorcycle rider since you can compare. Its interesting that u can see the same guard who is friendly and accommodating to you when using your car who transforms into a different person who looks down on you when you're using your motorcycle. Anyway i learned my lesson, i just use my car when going to places like this. But now motorcycle discrimination is actually evolving. It's not just the "matapobre" discrimination anymore. Due to the popularity and increasing number of criminals using motorcycles or the "riding in tandem", motorcycles are now facing a new challenge of getting generalized as criminals. I realized that i had a glimpse of how the black people in america feel, hehe.
