Actually there are three special forces in operation for Indian Armed forces. They are Marcos (Navy) , Para SF (Army) , Garuda Commandos (Air force) . Each of them specializes in different combat situations and tactics.

in terms of training , they are much higher up than US Navy Seals. There are roughly just 3000 MARCOS, whereas there are over 7000 US Navy Seals.

no offence, but these units can sustain for weeks even without drinking mineral water unlike the royal marines or the navy seals, they are absolute savage beasts, marcos are even considered to be deadlier than the navy seals in some aspects though, and if talk about specific specialization, we have different units who specializes in different situations, for example we have the COBRA commando units for jungle warfare

Can't you see the Israeli Tavors 21 carbines with them ??? These carbines are standard issue guns for the SF unis of India You saw some AK variants because AKs can be firer in every terrain,You can fire AKs in all weathers.......But in case of CQB the units are given UZIs with 9*19 bullets ..... and TAR 21 or IWI tavor bullpup assault rifle chambered in 5.56×45mm NATO, and it's also be used in all weather... But the Tavor is more reliable and easier to maintain than the Kalashnikov, though the AK's 7.62mm rounds are ballistically heavier. The Tavor is fully reliable with its fire selection mode (full or semi-automatic) and safety switches on the left and right sides of the rifle....Easier to swing through a range of motion than the 35-inch long AK-47 Kalashnikov the Tavor fires 5.56mm rounds (at up to approximately 950 rounds per minute) from a 30-round magazine.

1. Haha it's not really ignorant when we have tons of languages and writing scripts. There's just no such thing as an Indian language btw. I believe you wanna say Hindi (VERY (and I cannot stress it enough) different from the HINDUS). 2. Not sure about the video, but a lot of it certainly appears at least Indian (for instance, the writings on the wall etc.), if that helps with anything. 3. Haha, I couldn't hear him over your voice. But I believe the 'javajon' is just not translated. Sounds similar to Jawan which is how people refer to military folks here. Its more correct translation would be Cadets though, or depending on the context, it could also mean a young person. Also, the 'Hellvi' is supposed to be hell week. I believe they just couldn't comprehend the thick accent in English. 4. Not sure about how much time they spend on every individual thing, but the advanced training lasts for about a year.
