Last summer I moved up here to Michigan to help my grandfather take care of my grandma who has dementia and it's been rough not knowing whether or not she'll recognize me any given time I speak to her, changing jobs, and trying to finish school at the same time. Royal's music really helped me own and deal with my feelings and keep pressing through and I'll be forever grateful that I got to see her and grandson when they came through Pontiac; it really helped me feel like I wasn't alone and that there are others who understand what I'm feeling.

I hope she posts more footage from her visit to Varsity Theater in Minneapolis, MN it was the best night of our lives meeting Royal! She was amazing and I freaked the f out when I saw her come in from the outside smoke area and my friend Maddy and I got to meet her. She is an amazing person and has encouraged me to start trying to make my own music so I can perform with her the next time she comes. TRULY AN INSPIRATION! I love her and held back tears we were so happy to meet her! ❤️🌹
