WOW.... this evening at about 8:50 pm on 102.7 from Miami on the road home to Boca Raton what comes on to my complete joy was "Royals" by my newest favorite group " Foxes and Fossils ". It was the fist time I've heard F&F on big time radio, where you all belong. Perhaps commercial FM radio has finally caught on to the these outstanding musicians and wonderful harmony's. Keep up the good work Tim and Foxes and Fossils, big time may be at the end of the road. PS > Darwin's Early Morning Rain would be a huge hit down here in the south.

If you can find a station in a sizeable town that isn't corporate controlled, you might have a shot at getting them some airplay. I'd love to hear "Boondocks" on a country station a couple times and have it catch on.

Every now and then I got back to some of the earlier and earliest recordings of F&F, and I continue to be amazed at the depth of quality, the preciseness of the vocals, the perfect mix down, the superb musicianship of Toby, Scott, Johnny, and Tim. But...most of all, the the pitch perfect harmonies and superb arrangements. It's not just the harmonies, but how well the voice blend and complement each other. It's the little nuances, like a quick run up, done in perfect timing and harmony. That is never easy to accomplish. It's an absolute feast for the ear, unlike almost any other band, cover or otherwise, I've heard. After listening to F&F videos made from 2011 to 2019 than this I have to say. (The Harvest Moon cover stays on a tab in my browser.) Sammie should be getting major props for how awesome and solid she has always been on the harmonies. She may not get the attention the leads do, but it's her spot on harmonies that really lift their tunes to a higher level. Maggie and Chase are beautiful on lead and the band is just right so no taking away from them. And the guys do good when they harmonize. But... It's the subtle purity on the harmonies by Sam, that just pulls it all up another notch without it being immediately evident. Which is how it should be. Just make sure she gets real credit for that.

@@curtpowell3795 Right on!!! I have been trying to put my finger on it. Almost NOBODY knows how import David Crosby was to CSN and CSN & Y because the subtle they are. The pieces they sing and add to the mix are sometimes SO intricate that without a trained ear most listeners can't understand...they just know what they are listening to sounds good. Take away Sammie...You take away the sound of this band!!! Just love and admire how shinkin' talented she is!!!!!!!!

Hello from New Zealand...! Lorde is "one of us", and we're very proud of her. It's a delight to hear Royals performed with such finesse. I see the video was posted five years ago (to the day), a lovely time to find it. I stumbled across F&F quite recently, being absolutely stunned by the Don't Worry Baby video. I'm a huge Brian Wilson fan, and was happily surprised by your mastery of the song. You captured The Beach Boys harmonies almost perfectly. It's a deceptively simple song, but has some subtle complexities which were a hallmark of Brian Wilson's work. I wonder - has Brian see your video? I'm sure he'd be impressed. The same can also be said about your interpretation of Dedicated to the One I Love. Like the Beach Boys, The Mamas and the Papas had a distinctive sound and harmonies., you've captured this song beautifully. You have the unerring ability to be true to the original, while giving the songs a new lease of life. Well done - and thank you for the music.
