----------------------------
Royce da 5'9" spoke to VladTV about Eminem being on his latest album, The Book of Ryan, which led to a conversation about how they met and also about their falling out. Royce also revealed how he didn't drink any alcohol until he was 21 and in the studio with Dr. Dre.
When it comes to his beef with Eminem, Royce admits that he's not proud about posing with guns in the Beef DVD series, adding that sometimes in hip-hop it's all about fitting in, which led to a message to the youth. To hear more, hit the above clip.

Lee John Royce should speak up against that, respectfully. Dame Dash, for instance, will tell you not to talk to him about Jay Z and that if anyone has any Jay Z related questions then they should ask Jay. Your right, it's every interview.

I heard that the interviewers reach out to want to interview Eminem he declines and insist they interview his friends so they can get shine, So that’s why the interviewers get bold & ask them about Eminem and since his friends are getting shine either way, they don’t get offended that they are asked about Em. That’s what i heard, it makes sense to me

Vlad basically lied when he said to Royce that he had never asked him how he met Eminem. Royce answered that question in 2013 to Vlad. Royce is gracious and understanding of questions about he and Em's creative partnership but I wish in this instance turned into the drunk nigga he was and went off on his ass. Royce just dropped arguably the best rap album this year. Acknowledge Royce for his music and contributions to the game.

Kid was so nice but his ass kept fucking up being with guys in the streets who weren't about shit. best musician tho??! Em is a rapper mainly, and he could make some dope beats occasionally but sheesh. my point was well to mainstream America Em was the best MC I guess.. but to Hip Hop heads? hell no. "was just so obvious how much better he was than everybody" that's Vlad opinion, no heads thought that kinda shit.

I say musician because the production Eminem was doing back in those years was fucking amazing. Apart from Business, Say What You Say and My Dad's Gone Crazy, ALL the songs from The Eminem Show were produced by him. Superman and 'Till I Collapse are some of the best beats I've ever heard. Then there's songs like Warrior Part 2 (Lloyd Banks song) which was, I believe produced by Em and that beat was incredible. Akon's Smack That was produced by Em and that beat is amazing as well.
@doomzday4623
@doomzday4623 6 жыл бұрын
hmm good points on Em's production, yeah he honestly made some very dope beats. don't forget Nas "the cross" beat from God's Son too he produced that. a few joints on 50's Get Rich album too but I forgot the tracks.

@asimghaffar8148 6 жыл бұрын
Doomzday46 Exactly. As a producer, I feel Eminem doesn't receive the credit he is due. I'm not sure how his production was received critically back in the early to mid 2000s but his production back then was very good. Like I said, he's fucking garbage now.
