If this isn't the best live performance in a small venue ever produced I'll eat my hat! What talent is on that stage backing him up, all star artists in their own rights. They all were there to enjoy supporting one of the best singers, musicians and songwriters we will ever know on earth! Props to Springsteen and James Burton on this one.

@@georgehays4900 perhaps not? Springsteen made it clear that Orbison was his hero in his songs (Roy Orbison singing for the lonely/Yes that's me and I want you only...) and he obviously enjoys to be on stage with him. Yes, he competes with James Burton for attention but... I suppose Burton can stand it and enjoys it too. You cant say enough about Roys voice. But one of the more impressive aspects of this concert is how all these famous musicians balance with RO and never upstage him...especially Bruce ..who shares a mic with him on Dream Baby and totally blends with Roy..and check out Elvis Costello.. watch his strumming the guitar in the back ground on various songs..his strum pattern is totally in sync with Roy and Bruce....we will NEVER see a concert that equals this with such a fantastic singer backed up by some of the best singers and musicians of all time ! HISTORIC !

That back up guitar is really soothing. Bruce giving the "Haaa" to cue the drummer, thus cueing the band...you can feel the goosbumbs. Great job.

I'm 68 & enjoying RO's voice again. It seems like I didn't recognize his talent. And with all respect, every generation calls newer music garbage. But I have to wonder where & what will be coming next.

Roy will never be forget. Even the Songs with Traveling Wilburys was such fun and they left him a memory in the song "End of the line" in the form of a guitar in a rocking chair. I loved that and still do at the age of 66.

My "Sweerheart" had Parkinson's Disease and took her life........I miss HER SO MUCH!!!!!! Roy Orbison's music..... .Especially "You Got It" is about all that has kept me together since her hanging herself........people were so cruel;and his music was so deeply "loving" it helped her for a long time to keep on trying but finally the cutting comments by people about her condition, which she had no control over, "pushed her over the edge"......so now I listen to the songs we shared together alone and empty without her........THANK YOU, ROY ORBISON; FOR WHAT YOU HAVE GIVEN Lorna and I during the years we did have tohether!!! You have given us moments no one else could or would have!!! THANK YOU ETERNALLY. J.W.🐶🐕

What a heartbreaking story Jack. I understand about music sustaining us through tribulation. I also had known several people who committed suicide. It's so sad but don't blame yourself there probably wasn't anything you could've done . If there was share that with the world . Suicide is still pretty taboo and so many people dont know what to say in any death but in a shocking death they really don't know what to say. God bless you with peace .
