Don’t know where you have been Sir , but taking the mower for what it is you have given this little mower a new lease of life. If it had been treated properly for what it is meant for then you would not have to have done this amazing remedial work. Fantastic job Sir 👍 Tam.

Hi I have the same machine and in the process of having to remove the lower arms due to a snapped one but mine is the other side what do i need to remove to get to the top bolt as i cant seem to get a spanner up there to stop the locking nut from spinning . Also how did you get the pully off as it went from being stuck to the engine on the bench . Thanks in advance .

I’ve stripped mine down and no have no clue how to get this off. Please reply 😂

There is a pin in the shaft the holds the pulley on which need knocking out with a metal tool. However mine was so tight and very difficult to get at that I am afraid after many attempts I cut a hole in the plastic casing just enough to get the pulley ( connected to the engine) out?!

Good Afternoon , I have a mountfield empress 16sp with the plastic deck ,I have a problem with the height adjustment knob. Apparently it’s a common fault and the tread in the deck is striped . is there replacement parts to fix the problem I e the striped tread . My mower is in perfect working order other than this problem it my be old like me but does a brilliant job. I would be very grateful if you could help me out also.

You could use a thumb screw I had one for a service that did the trick
