Damn, was kinda hoping you would go over heat pipe removal for thermal paste application lol I have the rp-15 and can’t seem to find screw #1 although I’m thinking it’s under a piece of tape at the edge lol

It’s under that tape yes. There might be two hidden. One under silver tape near the rear and one under black tape between the GPU and fan 😉

Isn't there an option in the BIOS to disable the battery? My ThinkPad has such option to enable before opening the chassis, but wondered if it is a common thing.

Few weeks ago I accidently hard pulled the grey aux wire from the wifi card on my old laptop and in the process the small metal that connect the wire to the wifi card got removed, will soldering the wire in place of the removed metal solve the problem or I should I just get a new one ?

I have never seen a guide to change a laptop wifi card. I have never even heard of someone doing such a thing. Seems strange. But now that I think of it my MAX-17 randomly drops the wifi network during heavy downloads. Is this an issue with these laptops? Are you trying to tell us something, Bob? lol
