All the leaves have turned to rust The air is getting thin I can see my breath The night is rolling in The sky is grey It's cold as a stone It's just the kind of day I can't stand to be alone Cause you, you've been on my mind And I wish you were here Beside me tonight lying in this bed Cause I, I'm just not the same I walk down these streets; I swear I hear your name But it's just in my head I wish you were in my arms instead I wasn't thinking about you When I thought I saw your car I can't escape you for long You know I never get too far You're everywhere I go Cause you're everywhere I've been You're everything I've wanted And I want you back again Cause you, you've been on my mind And I wish you were here Beside me tonight lying in this bed Cause I, I'm just not the same I walk down these streets; I swear I hear your name But it's just in my head I wish you were in my arms instead I have to find a way, That's just how it is I'm stuck here in this place Cause you, you've been on my mind And I wish you were here Beside me tonight lying in this bed Cause I, I'm just not the same I walk down these streets; I swear I hear your name But it's just in my head

We can all relate, no matter the age. Even in kindergarten I felt this way about one of the girls there.. along with all the other boys except one. Yeah, guess which she liked..... Even now, years and years past, I still look back and think about what could've been. But I'm still single, don't know what I want anymore. Life turns a haze when you're in loves gaze, then it all seems to glaze when they tell you there's no more days.

I played bass and toured with some of the best musicians from Tulsa, Dallas and Austin for almost 40 years. This song is as good as it gets! Great musicians and what a great voice God gave you Randy. Sorry to hear about your daughter's passing. She is dancing with Angels in Heaven. -Tex

Is this song for me or him? Everytime you listen to these songs; does it make you feel like you made the right choice? I hope you find your peace and happiness. "That which sets your heart ablaze, burns the rest of you away"

Dancing isn't the same anymore... If it's not with you... But I thank you for the dancing days in the patio.. every single room in the house.. especially making the kitchen our dancing floor.. Memories one will hold deep in my heart... Love Always Cositas ❣️

Great song, I just stumbled across this band this morning. I don't understand why none of the western country bands are ever shared with people on the East coast.

This was one of my college boyfriend’s favorite songs, we would listen to it on all of our car rides together. We broke up due to life taking us in different directions. A little over a year ago he passed away. There is a complete different meaning to this song now. This was once a song that brought me so much joy, now it is now the song that comforts my grief.

I live in Sao Paulo - Brazil... this song is very popular in the country side of our State! There is quite a few nice American Country bands playing that in the area, and the music is really good! I hope to find sometime to visit the "Real Country" music scene in the US. Good lucky guys!!!
