Kyle and Greg, that RR Buildings new HQ is quite a *work of art* showpiece, congrats! I think I’ve watched most every episode, and while I feel that I’ve learned so much, it’s all quite new to me seeing every aspect of the build done so precisely and cautiously. Enjoy working in it! 👍💪

The appearance of RR Shop 2.0 is blooming brilliant. I love the changes in texture of the siding, the level variation in the roof and the way all the window trims pull each element together and back to the black smokey garage doors. You have created not only a functional building, but an aesthetically pleasing one too. Respect to you both. You guys make a great team and that was perfectly illustrated by Greg adding those measurement markers to the middle of the row on the rear wall. It was there just when you needed them. Knowing what your workmate needs before he gets to that is pure teamwork. Well done to the video editor for including it. Looking forward to seeing how the interior comes together. I’m hooked. 😉

The best part of this build is the enthusiasm of the guys doing the actual work. The million dollar RR Studio as a showcase, is just a result of determination to excel and continuous improvement in both value added materials and techniques. IMHO, the board and batting; from a distance; gives the illusion of metal siding.

Fantastic layout and color choices, You two made this build turnout so great and I think once the land scaping is all done your build will highlight everything around it. With each section of completion you show how a building gets done and any customer using your service knows they are getting your best work. Greg has shown so much with the time he has been with you and if he ever moves on with his own company I know he will make you proud to have been a part of his learning all you have been teaching him.

My favorite part of the build was the roof. I also really like the free standing up stairs, the insulation under the concrete and on the walls. Additionally, I really like it how you went for the 2x6 girts rather than 2x4. The only mistake I saw was the floor drain not being in line with the concrete cuts. Yes, the big windows could have been spaced a little differently like you said but they look really good. I don't think I would have gone with that large of a window because I like the bottom of the windows to be at the normal height and it's better for laying out furniture when you raise up the bottom of the windows to the normal height.

Stunning building and I love the color scheme. In fact, if I ever get to build my dream barndo, this will be my color scheme, except with dark red front door and garage doors. My favorite part is the black windows/roof against the gray siding...looks awesome!

Like it all Kyle and your "perfect is good enough" mantra. I wish all trades folks (and anyone basically doing anything) used that as their golden rule. I've actually seen new homes under construction posted for sale on realtor sites and many look like a trash dump in lots of photos. Bathtubs filled with drywall trash and subfloors covered with mud and trash, disgusting. I really like your work ethic and attitude whether it's for a client or yourself. Great mentoring for Greg. Job well done!

The multi-building facade was a great idea. I would have been bolder and coloured the middle section light blue or even red or orange on the front, but to do the multibuilding look right, you need a door in the middle section. Maybe the door by the large garage door should have been centered to the middle section (house facade). Look at a photo of St. John's Newfoundland to see how the multi-colored houses fit together.
