WiP It Wednesday for Wednesday February 5, 2025.
What's a WiP? A WiP is short for Works In Progress.
WiP it Wednesday is where I show the craft projects I've worked on this past week and hope to work on next week.
I currently go live twice a month on the first and third Saturday of the month at 11:00 am mountain time. I live in Arizona where there is no daylight savings time.

Hi Robin! Boy, we work on the same schedule! I also whip out the chores on Mondays, that's why I have Tired Tuesdays 😅 that's my scheduled day off. Your trees look wonderful! So, I am snowed in today and plan to look for keys I misplaced before my trip. :/ I got A LOT of sewing done yesterday due to snow keeping me from Sew Club. But I did it here! I did not wander off. Yay, me!

Happy birthday! Turning 30 years old? I have heard quilters are using washable glue sticks instead of spray. I don't know about that.

Thank you. Close to 30 😉. I’ve heard the same but I haven’t seen anyone do It yet. Rubbing the quilt top would stretch the fabrics so you’d have to use the glue stick on the fuzzy batting? I’m not sure but I will give It a try on my postcards. Maybe not a king size quilt. 🤔

I’ve been there too. My brain often goes on vacation. Yes my stacks of projects was a hint. I like to give hints when possible.

@@rsislandcrafts I really have a problem with this right now..and have for about a year. I am a creature of habit a lot of the time, have places I stick certain things...and will go there to get the object and it is not there. Spend a half hour looking for it and a lot of times look twice where it should be, only to go back just one more time and there it sits...where I looked the very first time.

That’s so frustrating. I do It all of the time. I have to tell myself to stop. Pay attention to what I’m doing at the moment and stop my brain from running through a checklist for the day or whatever I’m thinking about. I am always moving things to a “better” place and not remembering.
