That one was fake. He/She said they were in a capital with embassies, and an ambassador aid. They claimed the ambassadors aid said they worked for a consulate, which are mostly found in large cities that are NOT the capital. A consulate does not have its own ambassador. They follow the ambassador of the capital, however, there is a consulate general in consulates. There are other suspicious but non-provable inconsistencies here too.

I'm guessing he either abused drugs, was in enough fights to do permanent damage, or just got in an accident and it messed with his sensiblities. Karens are defined by their inability to accept that they made any mistake ever. They'll do ever crazier shit in a desperate attempt to avoid admitting they did anything wrong, as if that would kill them. Most likely all of them are suffering from hella strong Narcissistic Personality Disorder, meaning they have extremely fragile egos that they compensate for with a false image of themselves as perfect and infallible and superior to everyone else. Ironically, that attitude is what causes them to make mistakes all the time. If they're so much smarter than everyone else, they don't need to put any effort into anything, like making sure the person they're approaching is actually an employee. And once they make a mistake, they'll just dig an ever deeper hole for themselves since humility is not an option.

Both Heracles and Hercules are correct, they are the Greek and Latin versions of the name. He's one of the few that stuck with the Latin name in normal English use, (the other notable one being Pegasus¹). When Greek mythology became something of a fad with the English, almost all the translations used the Latin names² but later translations mostly switched over to the Greek ones leaving only a few where the two were close and some influences on language³. 1: So yes, when you encounter the plural "pegasi" it is correct, (Greek mythology does include a kind of winged horse named for Pegasus, so having a plural form isn't new). 2: Which can get annoying if you want to find public domain translations and prefer the Greek names. 3: e.g. "by Jove!"

I loved the one with the ambassador's staff, about the best comeuppance story I've heard. The one with the spilled milk in the store, not as satisfying, as the EM was still screaming in outrage as she was ushered out, plus they lost the sale of the milk, had to clean it up and expended money on top of it. I've heard of this kind of scam before and hope I would act as this customer did if I ever did see it. I've listened to more of these stories than I probably should have. If I ever get mistaken for an employee, I wonder how I will respond? Not likely though.

I legitimately do not understand the concept of NOT being courteous to other people. Then again, not being polite is something I see rather frequently. Luckily... the only time I've really experienced an entitled person was this one time at a McDonald's with my dad. We saw a woman ordering that was trying to order some coffee or other drink (can't remember which) with her meal, instead of the soft drink, and couldn't fathom why they would charge her more for that. I can't recall exactly the outcome, but I felt really bad for the cashier, who looked pretty young, right around twenty.

Me: Working at Wal-Mart trying to go on break Customer 1: Excuse me, can you help me? (Not even in my department) Me: Sure, let me call the associate who works here. Customer 1: No, do this right now. Me: Ok, ok, just calm down. What do you need? Customer 1: I need 2 cans of paint mixed and key made. Me: Ok, I am not trained to do either. Customer 1: Never mind, I will do it myself. (Proceeds to open cans of pain.) Me: Still trying to go on break. Customer 2: Oh, I saw you helping the other customer, can you come to fabrics and cut cloth for me? Me: Uh, let me get the associate who works there. Customer 2: What is wrong with you? Why do they hire people like you anyway. Hardware Associate: Can I help you, Customer 1? Customer 1: (Screams at Hardware Associate) No! Your stupid worker is so stupid that I had to do this myself! Hardware Associate: Oh, she works in the Pet Department. Customer 1: Does that matter to me? I want this paint now. Customer 2: You work in the pet department? Me: Yes. Customer 2: Oh, then come to fabrics and cut this cloth for me. Me: Goes over to fabrics, takes the whole roll and hands it to her and tells her the cashier would be glad to assist. Manager: Why haven't you gone on break? Me: Uh.....well, since you seem to not be able to hire enough employees to cover departments, then you stay out here. Customer 3: Helfen Sie mir, ich muss einen Spatel kaufen Me: Ok, what is it you want? Customer 3: (Rolls eyes) Ein Spatel, spatula! Me: Oh, a spatula. (Takes all types of spatulas and gives them to the customer) Me: Thank you for shopping at Wal-Mart. Manager: Next time you go on break, take your vest off. Seriously, this happened in less than 30 minutes in one day, at the same time. By the way, I didn't work there much longer.

I was once confused for being an attorney for the prosecution of a trial. They start talking about the case and how important it was for it to "go in our favor so my life is easier". Listening to this reminds me of a time I was at Wal Mart after an afterschool program where we did a kind of bible study thing. And our shirts for it are blue with a yellow sign on it like kids crossing you would see at schools. I was looking at parody book for Hunger Games while my Mom was doing something and someone came up to me to ask about something in the store. I had to tell them "I dont work here" and they got kinda butthurt because I could hear them making remarks. I get that I'm in a blue shirt like the Wal Mart workers but you dont see the design on it and lack of name badge? Just had to share my own tale to this lol
