@@lightingrat I wish I could agree with you. Nothing wrong with Rocky but Patty seems to bring energy to the stage and the rawness of her voice and range knock it out of the park. My level of appreciation for this band has kicked up a notch since Patty joined.

@@chrisw2546 I agree. Just came across these videos, and after seeing both singers, I have to say Patty's voice is a lot more raw, and has that grit like old school Geddy had in the higher range. Rocky's voice didn't have that same edge to it IMO. Not at all saying Rocky isn't a good singer, she is! I just think for Rush, Patty's voice is a better fit.

We Rush fans are a demanding lot. Rush is a very high standard. There have been so many Rush tribute bands over the last couple decades. None I’ve seen have captured the Spirit of Rush as well as this lineup. And it shows on high-level cuts like ‘Bastille Day’, ‘Anthem’, ‘Cygnus X-1’, etc. Well done all around!!

You can really appreciate Geddy’s voice when a 20 something female has to give it everything she’s got to hit those high registers. She hits them but…. barely. Not knocking her at all. I really liked it overall. I think she did a phenomenal job.

Been on a bit of a binge watching this band, especially this particular singer. Wow, musicianship is superb all round, and they hit the feeling that listening to these tunes did back in the day. Patty, you have a voice I love with a depth of quality that will shine more and more, capture your own nuisances and you will know what I mean, not only when doing a cover.
