RT100 minibike - Let's get it running!

This is a cool little minibike that I picked up last week that turned out to have the most hateful carburetor I have ever seen. It had been sitting for a while and the back tire was flat but it showed promise so I had to own it.

That mini bike is like the one i have. Mine is a Monster Moto 105. They are 3.5 HP. The channel Black 66 is doing one of those engines and he is now up to 49 MPH. They are all the same bike made by Mega Moto which now is owned by Go Power Sports in Keller Texas. Another great project Bill! 👍🎥🇺🇸

Nice little bike, that's not the first time I have seen a sealed car. Sure is annoying. I like how you used the ultrasonic and didn't drill and re rivet like I did. Lol 😆 🤣

I have been very lucky, and next week is a way cooler minibike. At the rate things are going. A rocket might be next... and it will probably have a clogged carb from sitting in its silo for 20 years 🤣

Never came across a bowl riveted on to the carburetor. The ultrasonic has been paying for itself! Mine is sitting quietly in the box after only a few uses--gotta get that out and into more use. Motorbikes are keeping you young, Bill. What are you 11?? Just one item of concern: There was a big pink elephant watching you the whole time---SCARY !

1 word for the bowl being riveted on, hateful. My ultrasonic has a place of honor on my bench, I use it every day. Wait till you see the new bench, I ripped out everything, but the pegboard on the wall. (If you watch the videos before happy hour the elephant doesn't show up 🤣)

@@GuysPlayingWithTools Good advice on the elephant...I was watching this about 5:15 pm...smack dab in the middle of happy hour. How foolish of me!! Come on over to Everyday Projects sometime. We don't have elephants but there is this one guy who is always up to something strange in almost every video! I know...not the same as pink elephants but we try.

It's a Coleman. I wasn't sure cleaning it with that hateful bowl in place would work, but it did.

I think about some more 2-wheeling but stop, shake my head and grin and change the subject. I do get an old Electra-glide or CB-750 craving occasionally but they don't last long after a glance at the highway.Too much and too many. Glad you survived. Thank the Lord I did too. Blessings!

Turn the bulb, and the bolt will loosen. Not a rivet.

That's what i usually see. This one had an odd tamper proof bolt, I called it a rivet because it resembled one. There was a notch preventing the bowl spin-off I usually see on these

@GuysPlayingWithTools I o ly mentioned it, because I have the same one. I only found out because I attempted to remove the bolt next to it, and it spun the bulb free. I was working on a no start issue. After two carborator tear downs, I realized the linkages for the throttle bar were all buggered up. It wasn't allowing the proper air intake to get started. I ended up tightening the throttle cable to compensate for the issue.

@cbretz2578 I think it depends on the heat and the area of the country is sold in. They make them more difficult to modify for some markets. I wonder if the guy before you fooled with it when it wasn't starting, you might have fixed something he dorked up. 👍
