Rick sees the big picture and at the same time sees what is realistic and wants to keep the whole family safe and together and THEN go there, safe, together and prepared...making Rick the all over better leader. He makes the more LOGICAL desicions that protects and provides for EVERYONE in the group...not just one person for, "knowing a cure." but for EVERYONE and he cares, love and protects EVERYONE. Rick is the best!

I'll capitalize this for you, THEY WERE WAITING FOR CAROL AND DARYL....duh...and the type of group they have and what they've been through they know they are a stronger group than the terminus group and obviously was better at strategizing and knowing how far away the terminus group was(that could attack any moment and could of followed them(like they did by leaving markings, that is how they knew they were at the church)...so leaving was not for the best of the group, getting rid of a threat and waiting for the rest of their family, getting prepared before leaving...that was the best for the group...unlike Abraham, Rick knows being prepared is important in order to make it safely from point A to B. Abraham has only the mission on his mind, he is not prepared, he's not thinking about anyone else, just the mission...and if you watched the rest of the season then you know Eugene was full of shit.

You all reminded me that I cried like hell over Bob's death. He was the loneliest guy when Daryl and Glen found him, then he found a family, and a good lady. He didnt die alone, and that was what you were supposed to take from his death. Also, Judith is about a year old, add 9 months and the apocalypse is about 2 yrs old now. Entering S10 this October, were 10 yrs into it. You guys are gonna go muts as you catch up!

Tyrese lied about killing the dude so he was able to help follow the group. Glenn and others didn't want to finish the fight with Garrett's group think because they got out they were safe. Wrong they should have listened to Rick and Bob would at least have died with his leg. All this after not finishing off the Governor which allowed him to lie to another group and kill Hershel.
