Might be a bit of a stretch but the T1 does support a 240 AIO on the top. You could consider getting one to better cool the 13900K.

Still not going to be enough to properly cool a 13900k but a lot better than that Thermalright.

@richardfarmer65703 ай бұрын
@@MarinkoTambur Not with that CPU, I honestly don't think you can properly cool a 14600k with that cooler but it would be better.
@rahulravishankar31523 ай бұрын
AIOs like Cooler Master's 240 Atmos or 240L Core fit in the Formd T1 without any modification needed at all. The mounting brackets come standard. The idea of watercooling is that it lets you run more heavily threaded loads without completely overwhelming your cooling solution. The AXP90-47 might just be better for a single core workload (see EIGA's experience with the 7950X3D) but the moment you hit it with a heavily threaded load, it all falls apart as there simply isnt enough thermal mass to soak up all the heat and dissipate it properly. The AIO has a radiator and coolant which do a much better job at soaking up the heat generated by a multi threaded workload and then dissipating it over a larger surface area.

It might look intimidating at first, but it really is super easy to install and AIO. See a couple of YT videos quite similar to your build and see it yourself how much of a massive difference it makes both in temperatures and as a result on performance. High 80s to low / mid 90s are quite bad for CPU temps, you will be losing performance on the table also not great for the longevity of your system either. I highly recommend switching to a 280 AIO.
@MarinkoTambur2 ай бұрын
Hi thanks for the suggestion, Im thinking of doing that however where I live the price of AIO is double to what I would pay in US so when I go back I'll probably get one.

Hi, I don’t game a lot, but for example, in Black Myth: Wukong during gameplay, it’s in the mid-60s, and I'm getting just over 90 fps. For the PCU could I bump up to the SF1000 or is the sf750 plenty? I plan on using the PROART but using the AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D and GIGABYTE B650I AORUS ULTRA board. thoughts ?
@MarinkoTambur14 күн бұрын
The SF750 should be sufficient for your build, as the Ryzen 7 7800X3D and ProArt RTX 4080 combo are relatively power-efficient for high-performance hardware. However, if you want more headroom for potential upgrades than go for SF1000

Why the mobo and cpu weren't the best choice for this application? you didn't say
@MarinkoTambur2 ай бұрын
The CPU is very power-hungry, and with this setup, it's impossible to cool it effectively, so I'm not getting the full potential from it. The motherboard also has compatibility issues with the cooler I purchased, and it's probably overkill for this build. I could have saved money by choosing a cheaper option that would meet all my needs. A better choice might have been an AMD chip, as it would be easier to cool

Im sure someone else would be better to answer this as I'm no expert but from what I understand if you are not planning to upgrade to 5090 anytime soon and you don't have any power instability with current set up I don't see the need to upgrade.
