You can still try pulling for Firefly! I speedran getting enough for 2 event 5 stars within 2 weeks just by playing thr game (story + simulated universe + exploration.) Ruan Mei is a REALLY good support in general, and is even better for break characters like Firefly. Literally OP as a pair. You should stick with your acc

To this day having skipped 1.5 entirely because i didn't like either of the 5* was a blessing, at the time didn't know about RM coming up in 1.6 had my guaranteed got her mid early and then saw that E1 and S1 and went all out for E1S1 (without spending) RM and she is awesome, now that i have also skipped 2.2 entirely will go once more all out on Firefly for a E2S1

Being a new player is tough bc I can barely keep up with the game as I need both old and new units. Even if I have 36k jades from doing all the content its barely enough to get both RM and FF and I really need motp copies too. Anyway, my plan is to get RM and work from there. Even if I won't have enough for FF I can cope with E6 Xueyi (only need 3 copies + 1 from new game mode).

2:54 "Firefly is stills perform wonderfully without Ruan Mei." In case you forgot: With Ruan Mei + Firefly + Harmony MC the damage you can do is 380K MINIMUM. Yes, MINIMUM (with just decent build.) Some of showcase I watched even reach 1.2M damage.... per enhanced skills. With a very well built Pela, you can do 180K minimum. Asta is 120K minimum. I'm not forcing people to pull. I want you guys to consider the results of having Ruan Mei in your team. Sure, Firefly perfect harmony will also come with her rerun (as like Sparkle with Dan Heng Imbibitor Lunae). But that's just mean you can play triple harmony in Firefly team. TRIPLE harmony.

Ruan Mei is not Break's most powerful support lol, that's Hatblazer. You can comfortable run something like Asta instead of Ruan Mei and still have a Firefly comp that will feel strong.

I mean she is right, Ruan Mei has always been the bread and butter of break teams and have to say she's probably the best of the Harmony Trinity of Sparkle, Robin and Ruan Mei because of her ult's versatility. Now if you're obsessed with Firefly (like me) just pull for her and pray for a new break support... But I still would recommend having a Ruan Mei in a Firefly team because that's just best in slot (you can theoretically substitute the empty space of Ruan Mei with another breaker like maybe Asta... Himeko... Gui... Hook... Or maybe even topaz)

I have a theory that there is no way Sunday even with his changes is not harmony and also there is no way he is not a new break support with a new mechanic that breaks the break efect team just like Super break is for HMC and probably is tailor made for Boothill but still we will need to pull for RM in the future. Like you i will pull first for firefly and then if Aventurine is with me get Ruan Mei, i have less than 160 pulls. If i succeed, I will gamble and dont pull anything until 3.0 arribes no matter what(And of course i am interested in the character)

Her banner is pretty friendly to new players cuz it'll give them Gallagher as well. Hoyo even give HMC to them just by completing the new event, so they don't need to rush the story. As for RM, they can use Asta to replace her. Unless they wanna go all in to get them both My suggestion would be FF & E1>RM>FF's LC>RM's E1

Hey! You don't need to worry for that either. We may got another break harmony that more suitable for Firefly, like Sparkle for Imbibitor Lunae..... Which Imbibitor also got rerun on Sparkle's banner So yeah, it's save to store some jades.

I am very glad that you have been covering Break Effect characters extensively, as I've wanted them to be a thing since 1.0 and we're finally getting them. My problem is a little different than the video, however. I have Boothill and RM, and while I love Rider aesthetics and SAM in general, I'm somewhat put off by Firefly herself and how much Hoyo and creators seem to be pushing her, and thus I'm not truly enthused to get her. Hipster? Probably. So my thought is, since I love Break (and I'm also hunting for E2 Misha to try as a Break DPS and all the Gallaghers I can), should I just grab Firefly anyway so I can run two teams of them simultaneously? Might it be better to give my Ruan Mei E1 or S1 for more longterm viability? I guess the answer lies in future unknowables. That is, will we be getting another Break DPS in the next few patches that I like the look of more than Firefly? I figure it's bound to happen sooner or later, but I'm already somewhat committed to one pull in Phase 1, possibly 1 in Phase 2 because I stink at Pure Fiction, and most likely E0S0 Jiaoqui as a Break support (no Acheron). I'd love to hear your thoughts on this matter, and I apologize for this rambling wall of text.

I was very excited for Firefly, but her animations put me off a bit, and I feel like every Hoyoverse CC and Hoyoverse themselves have been SHOVING Firefly down our throats nonstop. It feels overwhelming to me, and it also feels extremely forced upon us (obviously because they want to make money).

This is just my opinion, but if u guys really into Firefly, go for her. U could use fire break composition (Asta + Gallagher) + Harmony Cae/Stelle for Super Break Damage. There will be cons and pros, which will reduce Firefly's damage output, but Asta will give U more speed from her Ult and she can reduce enemy's toughness bar with her skill

Is okay, i have the cowboy, i can skip Firefly and get Ruan Mei, not a real fan of her, and neither Ruan Mei but she is broken, so all my pulls will go to her no matter what comes, i have 92 pulls for her right now, not biggie, easy choice, she will be mine I am very gratefull that they gives us more copies of Misha, Gallagher and Xueyi because i still need copies of them, so i will gladly pull for Ruan Mei even if i don't like her and i get plus characters that i really like let's see if i can get Ruan Mei E1 and his LC, also very gratefull for the copies of the LC n.n but yeah i am so sad that Argenti/Jade had such a bad banner, really, not much beneficit from it :/

Here my advice for people who are struggling on who to pull i reccomend u to pull for ruan mei first bc shes a good support for break teams with firefly and get her light cone and wait for firefly rerun OR do both of them if u have so many jades stacked up

Am I the only one that thinks boothill+firefly will make a great super break team. From my experience the 4th slot in Boothills SB teams is very flexible so you could also use FF in that slot?

I have E2 Xueyi and hope she'll be E4-E6 by the time I get Ruan Mei. Plus hopefully at least E1 on my Gallagher. So my break team will be Xueyi, RM, HMC and Gallagher. Imo not worth it to roll for Firefly since RM can also be used in my follow up or Acheron teams. Rolling for mechanics this banner btw, then I'll probably save for months to pull multiple eidolons for a character I love, like maybe 5* March whenever we get her.
